3.Shawn Rybka,Yes He drafted different, but take a guess what mag. He used. If you beleive in that guy's rankings, you have to beleive this team has a shot.
This will be a fun year in this League. One to watch that's for sure. Ryan,Rob and Jack I wish you the best and may the best player win this League. Of course Good Luck to everyone else in this League as well.

If I had it to do over again I would have taken Moss over Gore. i really thought my second round pick was going to be a WR so I wanted the RB in the 1st. The QB and RB were a good value in our draft but the WR got gobbled up extremely fast. My idea was to have a solid 4th WR and not as good of a second RB but you have to adjust to the draft so my team didnt look anything like I projected w/ my mocks but all in all Im still happy.

One draft was very easy, One draft was pretty easy, One draft was average, one draft was hard.
Someone who thinks a lot differently than me could come up with a very different conclusion sitting at the same draft. If everyone is going after my players ... the are NOT going after his (if we are not like minded).
IF you are a good drafter ... you are probably like minded with other good drafters and it is a bad thing to be in a draft with a lot of them. I would say if you are a bad drafter ... it might feel like Christmas being in a draft with a bunch of good drafters (no one else is interested in your players).
If I want to know how tough a draft is ... I need to get the opinion of what I think is a good drafter (since toughness of draft is an individual point of view).
Just food for thought.

I stumbled across this interesting discussion and before I add my 2 cents, I should disclose that I actually play in Slack90's local league and am in my 2nd year of partnering on an NFFC team - not his though and am in a different Chicago League. (last year we won our league head to head and finished in the top 25 overall in the playoffs, and we are doing both 12 & 14 team formats this year, FWIW).
In every league big or small there will always be stronger drafters and weaker drafters. The major differences between NFFC and local leagues is the lack of trading and the deeper benches which puts much more onus on the draft as well as managing FAAB wisely.
In 2 years and 3 NFFC/NBC drafts, sure I've seen some questionable picks but for $1300 to each his own as long as there is not collusion (and I am explicitly not saying there was here).
And while I don't disagree with the concept that an extremely poor (or even just an oddball/against the chalk) draft theoretically provides the other teams a drafting advantage, I'd also argue that in terms of actual impact it's quite small and over the course of a season when contemplated along with FA pickups, injuries, weather and other factors that come along invariable, that bad draft will likely not make much of an impact to the other teams in it's league.
Will the guy with the bad draft feel the impact...sure, but it's doubtful a meaningful advange will be gained by any other one tesm.
That said, it's sure as hell something interesting to talk about before the games start!

I had some guys next to me not draft a stellar team (Folk8th,M.Booker9,Hixon11), but I really didn't get much benefit as the guy to the right kept taking the LAST of my group of targeted guys before the picks from the guys to my left.
