Start/Sit Week 5
Help me pick the shiniest turds from this pile of crap: I need 2
Beanie Wells vs. NO
Naanee @ Oak. I expect Asomougha to cover Floyd
Steve Johnson Buff. vs. Jacksonville
Crabtree vs. Philly
Shiancoe @ Jets. Should be open with Revis on Moss.
1.5 PPR for TEs
Pick me 2 shiny turds, please?!

I would go with Crabtree (although I hate him) and Shiancoe.
If Arizona gets behind early, Beanie will be a non-factor and Naanee and Johnson are simply too unreliable IMO.
I am not crazy about Shiancoe (have a choice between him and Dreesen and am torn), but it is in NFFC. Not sure Shiancoe will be totally effective, where Giants/Texans should be a shootout, and I don't trust Daniels.
In FFPC at 1.5/PPR, Shiancoe is worth the gamble.
Good luck!!

Russ,
I agree with Shiancoe but I might lean a bit towards Naanee over Crabree. At some point in time teams are going to stop leaving Gates wide open on just about every play and Rivers is going to have to look somewhere else. I like his chances this week. But Crabtree is so due and as soon as you sit him he is going to go off.

Thanks BW. Shiancoe dinged up, Crabtree with Alex "Crap" Smith is how I lean as well.

Orton or Kolb?
Most likely flipping a coin 15 minutes before kickoff.

IMO, Orton. His RBs suck and they're on the road vs. BAL. They should be throwing a lot as usual. Kolb's on the road @SF and the 49ers may be turning the corner now with their new offensive coordinater, so I wouldn't be too surprised if Kolb has a rough night tonight.
Yes, BAL sports "the #1 pass D", but look who they've played:
- Week 1, Mark Sanchez was held to 74 yards passing in a game that looked like NY wasn't ready to take the training wheels off.
- Week 2, a very inefficient Carson Palmer, who is widely considered a shell of his former self.
- Week 3, Seneca Wallace, a career backup; and the Browns knew well enough to feed the ultra-hot Hillis the ball instead, as he ripped through the Ravens run D for 144 yards.
- Week 4, divisional rival PIT who still had Charlie Batch at the helm (whom I'm not buying as even an average QB, despite his two super-lucky passing TDs to Wallace earlier this year).
Now they face the NFL's #4 passer in Orton, and as I said, with DEN's depleted running game. I project 275 yds/2 TDs/1 INT for Orton, closer to 200/1/2 for Kolb.
Good luck.

I keep coming across the same sit/start decision on different teams.
DeSean or Knox???
I have DeSean in now because I think Philly is more likely to throw but any thoughts?

Wayne I'd go with DeSean.
Todd Collins @ QB for the Bears.
