Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Dave Cushard of Marshall, Michigan is one of only six guys who has signed up for every event we've offered in the past year and one of only two guys (Shawn Childs is the other) to win league titles in baseball and football. Dyv won Las Vegas League 4 last year, going 10-3 for the $5,000 first place prize and finishing with 1,843.6 points, 10th overall. He then finished with 618.17 points in the Championship Round to finish eighth overall, earning a free entry in the 2005 main event, which I know he will use in Las Vegas!!! Dyv's Auction League team went 9-4 this year, but failed to make the playoffs with 1,584.1 points and his Draft Champions League team had all sorts of injuries to finish at the bottom with 1,876.45 points. He has signed up for the Auction League in Las Vegas as well ($650) and I wouldn't doubt if he enters everything else we offer at a later date! Congratulations on a great, great season, Dyv, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $4,000 Auction League prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
I love coming to work on weekends and seeing signups for the 2005 event. Keep 'em coming and I'll keep coming into work on weekends!!! Our latest returning member is Mark Griffith of Charlestown, Massachusetts, who will be returning to the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the main event. Mark's Cobra Kai team started out 5-2, but then limped to a 5-8 finish with 1,501.9 points, 156th overall. His team didn't fare much better in the Consolation Round (139th), but Mark said he had so much fun that he's returning in 2005 and bringing a couple of friends with him. I remember when Mark first called me this summer to ask about the NFBC as he was considering several other high-stakes contests at that time. We had a great conversation, he signed up a day later and now he's returning early for 2005. Gotta love it. Thanks for your trust and support, Mark, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Chris Schinker of West Allis, Wisconsin has been a loyal participant in all of our high-stakes baseball and football contests thus far, so it's no surprise that he was one of the first 2005 signups for the NFFC. Chris and co-manager Collin Laufenberg will be returning to Las Vegas on Sept. 2-3 to compete in the NFFC Auction League ($650 entry fee) and the main event. In 2004, Chris' gigglin marlin team tied for first place in Las Vegas League 4 with 1,704.95 points, losing the $5,000 in total points to Dyv, but securing third place league money. gigglin marlin then finished 15th in the Consolation Bowl with 573.80 points. His gigglin marlin team had similarly tough luck in the Las Vegas Auction League as it went 6-7 despite putting up the second highest point total (1,751.55), eventually losing in the first round of the playoffs to Follow Me 139.2-136.6. Thanks again for trusting and supporting us, Chris, and better luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, the $5,000 league prize and the $4,000 Auction League prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Rob Nikc of Manorville, New York becomes our 31st returning member from 2004 to sign up for the 2005 main event as he will be back at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Rob led his PL4BL team to a 6-7 record in New York League 4 last year, finishing with 1,588.1 points, good for 106th overall. PL4BL then finished 69th in the Consolation Round with 503.97 points. He had so much fun that he's returning in 2005 and even looking into our baseball event this March. Thanks for your trust and support, Rob, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Mark Moyer of Laurel, Maryland competed in the Las Vegas Draft Champions and Auction Leagues last year and cashed out in both, so it's not surprising that he's signing up already for both events in 2005. Mark's Follow Me team finished third in the Draft Champions League with 2,500.2 points to win $550 and his Follow Me Auction League team finished second ($1,750) as it lost in the championship game to Lumpy's Losers, 169.1-112.75. Follow Me went 6-7 during the regular season, but had the fourth highest point total at 1,652.95 points. Follow Me defeated gigglin marlin and Let's Go Chiefs in the first two rounds to advance to the championship game. Great job, Mark, and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $4,250 first place Draft Champions prize and the $4,000 Auction League prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
It's time to officially welcome back those owners who won free entries in 2005 with strong post-season performances. Let's lead off with Mike Ward of Stamford, Florida, who led Team NEW to a 12-1 record in Las Vegas League 5, winning his first 12 games, and leading the overall points total during the regular season with 1,994.25 points. Team NEW led virtually from start to finish in the overall points total, finishing with 64 more points than Route C, which finished second in the overall points total. Team NEW won $5,000 for the league title and a free entry by finishing seventh in the Championship Round with 621.46 points. What a lot of people don't know is that Mike was scheduled to draft in Las Vegas and was grounded in Florida at the last minute by the hurricane and actually agreed to draft via teleconference with the hurricane whipping at his door. Great job Mike and co-manager Alan Narz, and hopefully in 2005 we'll be able to see you in Las Vegas and have some beers together. See you then.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Team Cannataro was the only other NFFC team to go 12-1 last year, winning Chicago League 4 by winning its last 12 games after starting out the year 0-1. It was an amazing run by Chris Cannataro of Addison, Illinois, whose team finished 42nd overall in total points during the regular season with 1,730.2. Team Cannataro then finished sixth in the Championship Round with 627.4 points, earning a free entry in 2005 to go along with the $5,000 league prize. Congratulations on a great season, Chris, and we'll see you again at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott for the main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Best of luck in the hunt for the $100 G and the $5,000 league prize again.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Eric Lundquist of Elk River, Minnesota had a very interesting debut season in the NFFC and his It's Time team is a perfect example of how total points can lead to winning seasons. It's Time finished with the eighth best record in Chicago League 1 (6-7), but it had the second highest point total (1,733.6) to win $1,500 and earn a trip to the Championship Round. Although his regular season total was 39th best in the NFFC, It's Time had the fifth highest point total (628.91) in the Championship Round to earn a free 2005 entry. Eric said he will be returning to the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd and looks forward to the challenge again. Congratulations on a great season, Eric, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
The Consolation Bowl gives everyone one last chance to win in the NFFC and Matt and Sid Fey of Wheaton, Illinois certainly took advantage of that last chance in 2004. After finishing 6-7 in Chicago League 3 and 81st overall in total points with 1,642, The Fockers turned it on over the last three weeks and finished third in the Consolation Bowl with 614.46 points. That earned the Fockers a free entry into the 2005 event and Matt and Sid plan on coming back to the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for a chance at the grand prize this year. Great finish guys and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Let's give it up for our latest new member of the growing NFFC family as Scott Atkins of Indianapolis, Indiana has just signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3. Scott has been a long-time WCOFF member who competes in many fantasy football contests and we're honored to have a dedicated player like him with us. I have a feeling he will be active on the Message Boards, as well! Scott was referred to us by a fellow NFFC member, so thanks much for that kind reference. Thanks for trusting in us, Scott, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. If it helps any, we'll buy the first beer in Chicago!
