Let's welcome yet another new member to the growing NFFC family as Edward Nolan of Oakdale, Minnesota has agreed to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Edward is new to the NFFC, but he's currently competing in our National Fantasy Baseball Championship, having drafted in Chicago League 3 in March. Edward is having so much fun in that league that he thought he'd try his hand in football as well. Thanks once again for your trust and support, Ed, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Jun 20, 2005 2:33 am

Let's start the week off with two more signups for Las Vegas, giving us an even 56 and four full leagues there and 120 overall. It looks like we'll easily surpass the six full leagues we had there last year and we're obviously on pace to surpass the 224 we had in Year One.

Let's give it up for our newest member of the growing NFFC family as the tag team of Radhika Dietrick and Danny Dietrick of Celebration, Florida has agreed to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Radhika and Danny are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them with open arms. Thanks for your trust and support, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. First beers in Las Vegas are on us!

Let's welcome back our 88th team from 2004 to the 2005 event as Kyle Baldwin of Arlington, Texas will be joining us in Las Vegas for the Auction League and the NFFC's main event. Kyle is currently competing in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship's Auction League and the main event and he said he's a lifer in both of these events. We're glad to hear that. Kyle led his Dregs of Society team to a 5-8 finish in Las Vegas League 5 last year, finishing 161st overall with 1,494.40 points. His team picked it up in the Consolation Round by finishing 53rd overall with 529.41 points. Thanks for your trust and support once again, Kyle, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Kyle will also be joining us on Friday, Sept. 2nd at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino for the NFFC Auction League, becoming the 19th signup there as we attempt to fill two full leagues. Thanks for your trust and support in this league, Kyle, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000 in league prizes.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

We're starting on our fifth league in Las Vegas as we welcome back our 89th member from the 2004 event. Rick Thomas of Bozeman, Montana is one of our most loyal participants in baseball and football and he is returning to Las Vegas on Sept. 2-4 to compete in the NFFC trifecta. Rick has become our 11th owner in the Las Vegas Draft Champions League, the 11th owner in the NFFC Ultimate League and our 121st signup for the NFFC's main event. Rick is competing in four different NFBC events right now -- and leading the NFBC Ultimate League, I might add -- so he's in condition for a trifecta of this kind. Last year in the NFFC, Rick's RapTors finished 10th in the NFFC Draft Champions League with 1,714.20 points and was one game out of first place in Las Vegas League 3 at 9-4, finishing 148th overall with 1,520.20 points. The RapTors had a good run in the Consolation Round, finishing 27th overall with 555.34 points. Thanks once again for your trust and support, Rick, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize, $4,250 Draft Champions League prize and $37,500 in prizes in the Ultimate League.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Jun 22, 2005 4:26 am

It's a joy to keep welcoming back our participants from last year, who obviously enjoyed their debut season in the NFFC. Let's give it up for our 90th returning member from 2004 as Kevin LaCour of Sugerland, Texas has signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event and Auction League in Las Vegas on Sept. 2-3. Kevin and his partner John Willis led their Dr. Hood team to a 4-9 record and 1,459.80 points in the Auction League last year and to a 4-9 record and 1,395.15 points in Las Vegas League 4. Kevin blames Clinton Portis and Matt Hasselbeck for dragging his main event team down! That's okay, Kevin, it's a new year now! Remember, it's your turn to bring the beer to the Auction League, so don't forget that on Friday. Kevin's signup now gives us 20 for the Auction League in Las Vegas, 58 for the main event there and 122 overall. Keep 'em coming and let's fill up that second auction league in Las Vegas. Thanks for your trust and support once again, Kevin, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize, $5,000 league prize and $4,000 auction league prize.

Let's give it up for yet another new member of the growing NFFC family as Jack Battin of Walnut Creek, California has agreed to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Jack is an original member of the WCOFF who plans on competing both weekends in Las Vegas and he comes to the NFFC on the recommendation of Scott Atkins. Jack is looking forward to this added competition and is already preparing hard for the unique 14-team format. Thanks for your trust and support, Jack, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
