Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
We're glad to welcome another new member to the growing NFFC family, although this one is a familiar face. The father-son tag team of Steve and Alex Pletkin of Santa Rosa, California joined our National Fantasy Baseball Championship for the first time this year and they are having a great time this season. Now they're joining us for the NFFC's main event in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd and thinking about the Auction League on Friday, Sept. 2nd. Steve whipped my butt in the LABR League two years ago and continues to feel sorry for me...and rightfully so! For now, we welcome Steve and Alex to the NFFC's main event and wish them best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Thanks for your continued support and remember that the first beers in Las Vegas are on me!

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
We close out the month of June with our 93rd returning member from 2004 signing up for the NFFC's main event. Let's give it up for Michael Newbert of College Point, New York, who is returning to the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the NFFC's main event. Michael led his Fire and Theft team to the second-best record in New York League 1 last year at 9-4, but finished out of the money with 1,576.35 points, good enough for 116th overall. Fire and Theft then finished with 460.81 points in the Consolation Bowl to finish 123rd overall. Michael is looking for a money finish this year and we're glad he's returning to our event again. Thanks for your trust and support, Michael, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize as we get closer to finishing up our 10th league in the NFFC's main event.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Let's give it up for yet another new member of the growing NFFC family as William Thomason of Arlington, Texas has just signed up to compete in the Las Vegas Auction League on Friday, Sept. 2nd at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. William is new to our family of high-stakes events and he comes on the good advice of NFFC veteran Kyle Baldwin. Thanks Kyle. William is now our 23rd owner in the Las Vegas Auction League as we move closer to filling up our second league there. William is also considering the main event and may need a little nudge there to join us. For now, thanks for your trust and support in the Auction League, William, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
Okay, let's get right to the signups as we've received four in the last day, giving us 10 full leagues for the NFFC's main event. Of the four signups this last day, three are for Chicago as we now have two full leagues there. We are well on our way to topping the four full leagues we had in the Windy City last year and 16 full leagues overall.
Let's give it up for our 95th returning team from 2004 to the 2005 event as Tim Liddicoat of Madison, Wisconsin has just signed up to compete at the Chicago Oakbook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Tim competed in Las Vegas League 2 last year as he led his Sunday Silencers team to a 5-8 record and 1,508.55 points. This fellow Cheesehead of mine will be switching to Chicago this year and looking for a money finish in 2005. Thanks once again for your trust and support, Tim, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
I might be wrong with this next signup, but I think Tim Liddicoat's co-manager last year in Las Vegas was his brother, Keith. Well, now Keith Liddicoat of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin is taking his own team in the NFFC as he has also just signed up to compete in the main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. Trust me, you can never have enough Cheeseheads in this competition! I like it when returning teams split up into two entries as we've had a lot of that so far this year. Thanks for your trust and support, Keith, and best of luck to you in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?
We now have 10 full NFFC main event leagues thanks to the recent signup of Jeff Fournier of Westbrook, Maine, our newest member to the growing NFFC family. Jeff is new to our family of high-stakes events/contests and we welcome him with open arms. Jeff becomes the 44th signup in New York, but more are definitely on the way as we shoot for 350 total signups. Thanks for your trust and support, Jeff, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
