Let's give it up for Anthony Raimone and Jim Byrns of Bardonia, New York, who became our newest members of the growing NFFC family when they signed up for the NFFC's main event in New York on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Anthony and Jim are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them with open arms. We are close to filling up our fifth league in New York and working on our 14th league overall for the main event. Thanks guys for your trust and support and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We welcome back our 121st member from 2004 to the 2005 event as Kevin Handy of Brooklyn, New York will be drafting at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the NFFC's main event. Kevin led his Black Reign team to a 6-7 finish in New York League 2 last year, finishing 108th overall with 1,584.6 points. Black Reign then made a good charge in the Consolation Round, finishing 11th overall with 587.20 points. Thanks for your trust and support again, Kevin, and good luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. During your first visit to Las Vegas for the NFFC, I'll buy the first beer. :D

We're glad to welcome yet another new member to the growing NFFC family, although this is a familiar face. Dan Satinoff of Owings Mills, Maryland and his brother Evan joined us in Las Vegas this March for the National Fantasy Baseball Championship and they are currently competing in Las Vegas League 9. Now Dan and Mark Fischer will join us in New York for the NFFC's main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Glad to have you back, Dan, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We begin our fourth league for the main event in Chicago today with the arrival of Emo Bonaminio, who is claiming home field advantage at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott. The Chicago-native is the newest member of our growing NFFC family, but we know Emo well because he competed in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship with us for the first time in March. Emo had so much fun there that he decided to try his hand in our football contest. We're glad to have you back, Emo, and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Now this is the kind of love I like to hear about in the fantasy football world. A dedicated New York fantasy football league saw our story about the NFFC in Fantasy Sports Magazine and wanted to get involved in a big way. So the league members threw enough money in the pot to sponsor two teams, with four of the owners representing the group on Draft Day. Let's give it up for the team of Anthony Saccone of Staten Island, New York and Joe Sabatino, who will be drafting in the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Also drafting another team at the New York Hilton will be Ricky Casale of Brooklyn, New York and Jim Brown (no, not the great halfback!). All four guys are new to our family of high-stakes events, but we definitely welcome them with free gifts and free drinks! Thanks guys for your solid support of the NFFC and best of luck to all of you in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Let's keep the signups coming to start the week as Scott Stage of Las Vegas, Nevada is going to claim home field advantage in the NFFC's main event this year. Scott is new to the NFFC, but he participated in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship for the first time this year and is very pleased with that event. Now he's going to try his hand at football and we're glad to have him on board for the NFFC's main event at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Thanks for your trust and support again, Scott, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

We're glad to welcome back another member from 2004 to the 2005 event as Lonny Graves of Columbia, Missouri will be returning to the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd for the NFFC's main event. Lonny teamed up with Jon Clift last year to lead Big Mo to second place money in Chicago League 3, finishing 12th overall with 1,836.1 points. Jon has taken his own team this year and Lonny will be teaming up with Kenny White, another member from their local Missouri fantasy football league. We're glad to have you guys back once again and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
