Bank on it. koq - what's that smell? it’s the smell of inevitability...you may not realize it now, but you will. you're money will soon be ours.
Inevitability? You sound like Agent Smith from The Matrix, and we all know what happened to him.

I'm counting on you guys to step on each other's toes throughout the season and particularly on draft day. Also, wouldn't it be great if you and Dyv both wound up in the same Main Event league in Vegas? I would love to know how you guys plan on picking up free agents in the Ultimate League should that not-so-unlikely event occur.

Okay, let's get back to the signups today as it's active again. We welcome back our 137th team from 2004 to the 2005 main event as Jeff Bartkowiak of Brookfield, Wisconsin and co-manager Justin Rausch will be joining us at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Jeff's signup closes out our fourth league in Chicago as we are working on our 16th league overall. Jeff's No Me Toque team finished 4-9 in Chicago League 4 last year, finishing with 1,380.85 points during the regular season and with 377.97 points during the Consolation Round. Jeff promises a better finish this year and is looking forward to the 2005 event. We're glad to have you guys back for a second season and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. I'll be in Brookfield next Monday, Jeff, so buy me a beer if you see me!

Will Tyrer of Beverly Hills, California was hoping to compete in the NFFC $1,250 Auction League, but when he saw that one was struggling to fill up he grabbed the last spot in the $650 Auction League on Friday, Sept. 2nd at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino. We now have 28 owners in Las Vegas for the auction leagues for two full leagues. Thanks Will for switching over and staying involved in the NFFC Auction League, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000 league prize.
Why would we need free agents in the Ultimate league? We'll undoubtedly put out the perfect draft so it seems unlikely the FAAB dollars would be of any use.

If we end up in the same main event league then we'll have a game within the game as our bids in the Ultimate may have a different foundation/need than our bids in the main event teams. I may put in a bid for RB#43 in my main event team for $322 but Ultimate I may suggest we put out $276

It's all good - I have no fear.

We've had a good run on Chicago signups in the last week and the run continues today as we're working on our fifth main event league there. Let's welcome our newest member of the growing NFFC family as David Deltour of beautiful Appleton, Wisconsin has just signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. David competed in the WCOFF in 2002 and VIPs last year, but this year he heard about our multi-city format and liked the short drive to Chicago. David is new to our family of high-stakes events, but he's already eyeing our baseball event for next year. Thanks for your trust and support, David, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

I may do the Ultimate League this week yet, once I double-check on each entry. I've talked to almost everyone and got confirmations, but let me be safe with that. I'm going to hold out on the auction leagues for a bit just to see if there's any interest for more signups there. A third league would be tough to fill at this juncture, but you never know and the draft positions aren't critical there. I will probably hold off at least a week for that.

Do you guys really want your draft spots this early for the Ultimate League? :D What happens if it's not the pick you want? :D

if you want i can come up with the clean process on how it works...

We're glad to welcome back a veteran member of our high-stakes events and our 138th team from 2004 as Ken Norred of Ashland, Alabama has agreed to return to Las Vegas this year for the NFFC's main event. Ken is currently competing in our NFBC main event, our auction leagues and our NFBC Ultimate League as he's a die-hard baseball player. He competed in the NFFC last year with his KLN Gridiron Bunch finishing 4-9 in Las Vegas League 3 with 1,341.45 points, finishing 110th overall in the Consolation Round with 474.49 points. Welcome back Ken and best of luck this year in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
