Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Aug 11, 2005 5:08 am

It's hard to find a better customer than George Kleemann of Palantine, Illinois, who is always looking for a good challenge. George has signed up for our $75 Draft Champions Satellite League and now that has given him the bug to join us on Friday, Sept. 2nd at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott for the NFFC's Draft Champions League. George becomes our eighth owner there, leaving us with six open spots in Chicago. George, you're the best. Thanks for your trust and support again and good luck in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize. Oh, and get DEEEEEEP draft lists! :D

William Thomason of Arlington, Texas signed up for just the NFFC Auction League last month in Las Vegas, but at the time he let it be known to me that he could be pursuaded into the main event later. That wasn't the right thing to say to me as I tracked him down this week to see if he was getting the football itch and if I could scratch it (yikes, that doesn't sound good). Sure enough, he had the itch and today he signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Glad we could take care of that itch, William, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Oh, and thank Kyle Baldwin for the fine referral!

Noland Langford of Buffalo Grove, Illinois becomes our 12th owner in the Chicago Auction League, which will be held at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Friday, Sept. 2nd starting at 5 p.m. Noland is new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome him with open arms. Noland is looking forward to the auction format and he was happy to hear we still had an opening in Chicago. We need two more owners in Chicago and then we'll close this league up and I know one owner is tentatively planning to return and hasn't officially committed yet. Let's close this one out. Thanks Noland and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000 league prize.

Glen and Geoff are new to our family of high-stakes events and we welcome them with open arms. They'll be drafting live on Saturday, Sept. 3rd at the Oakbrook Marriott in Chicago. Thanks for your trust and support, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Joseph Treffiletti of Alpharetta, Georgia is our newest member to join the growing NFFC family, although he's a familiar face to me. Joseph joined our National Fantasy Baseball Championship in March and had so much fun that he's returning to Las Vegas for our football event. We're glad to have you, Joe, and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize. Good luck and remember that first beers are on me!

Johnny Frisella of Exeter, Rhode Island works with Eddie Gillis, so obviously his passion for football rivals that of Eddie's. As a result, Johnny is jumping into the Draft Champions League in New York on Friday, Sept. 2nd, becoming our eighth New York team in that league. Let's get six more signups out there and fill that baby up. Johnny is itching to draft and he's in three satellite leagues to go along with this Draft Champions League and the NFFC's main event. Thanks for your trust and support once again, Johnny, and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize in the Draft Champions League.

We're glad to announce that we reached last year's total of 224 teams in the main event as we filled up our 16th league overall with the arrival of our newest member of the growing NFFC family. Will Ott of New York City has signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd at the New York Hilton. Will is good friends with Kamel Haddad, an original member of the NFFC, and he decided to jump into the competition after hearing good things from Kamel. We won't disappoint you, Will, I promise as this is a great competition with a great group of fantasy football die-hards. Thanks for your trust and support, Will, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
