Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Aug 22, 2005 3:08 am

We're glad to welcome yet another new team to the NFFC family as the tag team of Thomas Wachter of Bartlett, Illinois and Rick Kapcia will be drafting in the NFFC's main event at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Thomas was a co-manager last year in the NFFC and has competed in our NFBC, but this year he will team up with a fellow LeaderboardSports member as the principal manager. Thanks guys for coming through in the clutch and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Kevin Dukesherer of San Diego, California was already signed up for the NFFC's main event and the Auction League in Las Vegas and now he's playing the trifecta by adding the Draft Champions League to his weekend of fun. Kevin has competed in almost every baseball and football event we've offered over the last two years and we thank him for his loyalty. Goood luck in all three events and especially in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize in the Draft Champions League. We now have 23 owners in Las Vegas for this event, leaving us with five open spots. Let's fill 'em up.

Wade Golab is another of our 2004 participants who is returning for Year 2 of the NFFC. Golab finished 10-3 and just missed the playoffs in Chicago League 2 last season so he and his co-owner, Robert Smolarczyk are aiming for another strong season and a playoff berth in 2005 as he will be competing in Chicago once again. Welcome back guys and good luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and $5,000 league prize.

Okay, we're officially at 250 for the main event and closing in on our 18th full league thanks to the arrival of our newest NFFC member. Let's give it up for Perry Lin of Hoboken, New Jersey, who will be on vacation in Las Vegas next week and decided to jump into the NFFC's main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Perry is a long-timer reader of Fantasy Sports Magazine and he almost jumped into the competition last year, but waited to see how things played out. Now he's ready for this national competition and excited to be competing in Las Vegas in the main event. Thanks Perry for the call today and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

Let's keep it all in the family as Jeff Schinker, father of veteran NFFC and NFBC player Chris Schinker, has signed up for the NFFC's main event in Chicago. Jeff will be teaming up with Damon Nirode for the NFFC's main event on Saturday, Sept. 3rd as we try to close out our fifth league in Chicago. Thanks for your trust and support, guys, and best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.

You know what we like most about the NFFC? You guys are serious fantasy football players. Want more proof? All right, how about Chris Scarbro who is either going to fly or drive from Newark, Delaware to Chicago to compete in our $650 auction league. That's impresive Chris and we're happy to welcome you to our event for the first time. Chris' arrival also closes out the Chicago Auction League so we'll be picking the nomination order for that league sometime this week. Good luck Chris in the battle for the $3,350 first-place prize.

Chris Scarbro of Newark, Delaware just couldn't wait any longer to get in an auction league and decided to fly to Chicago for the final spot in the $650 Auction League on Friday, Sept. 2nd. How's that for dedication? Chris becomes our 14th owner in Chicago, filling up our fourth NFFC Auction League among the three cities. I like your love for auctions Chris and wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000+ in league prizes. Have a safe flight and we'll take good care of you in Chicago.

Okay, the only thing we have left for auctions is a possible $1,250 Auction League in New York on Saturday night, Sept. 3rd. Let me know if you want any part of that.
