Who's Coming To The 2005 NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Aug 28, 2005 5:40 am

Tom Spinoso and Tori Kaldenberg of Madison, Wisconsin were one of our last signups last season for the main event and they went on to earn a money finish. The year was so good that they tied the knot this off-season and became husband and wife. Now they've decided to split teams in the NFFC, with Tori taking over one team and Tom grabbing a spot as well at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. This should be an interesting household this football season as both of them battle for the $100,000 grand prize and $5,000 league prizes. Thanks Tom and Tori, and best of luck to both of you.

Mike Cameron was going to join us for golf on Friday morning, but when he heard that our formal outing wasn't going off as planned he jumped at the chance to grab the 28th spot in the Draft Champions League in Las Vegas. Mike fills up our second league out there, with all 28 owners present and accounted for. All 28 will be present when we host these drafts on Friday, Sept. 2nd at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino, starting at 11 a.m. Thanks Mike and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,250 first place prize.

I told them it was fun for the satellite leagues, but here people REALLY dislike you for picking big numbers. They weren't too keen about that, then.

Tom and I will do the Draft Champions first thing tomorrow morning and we should have all of the NFFC leagues done before noon too. But I've missed deadlines before!!!

Let's give it up for the guys who finally grabbed one of the final spots in Las Vegas as the tag team of Joe Saluzzi and Jerry Duhovic of San Pedro, California just signed up for the NFFC's main event at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. Joe has been following our boards for a long time and was going to jump into the Ultimate League before we filled that one and now will "settle" for the main event. We're glad to have you guys on board and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
