I think the reason Gekko suggested the slot bidding is because he saw the process was flawed. I suggested it to remove the randomness of assigning draft slots. Owners will make bad picks, sleepers will get picked too early, players will get injured, etc... Slot bidding does NOTHING to change these things. If the light bulb hasn't gone on for you yet, it probably never will. That's okay. The world needs people like you. [/QUOTE]You are such a lame little *****....How dare you try to put down my partner. The world DOES need more people who graduated from an Ivy League with an MBA, someone who is a devoted family man, and someone who has a prestigous career on Wall Street.
Geck - what are your credentials in life? An annoying little message board weasel ? That and a couple of bucks will allow you to ride on the subway here in NYC.
Plus my boy worked for the NFL for 5 years in upper management.....
You work for the NFL in your own mind though....
No F'n Life
I will gladly donate my remaining $284 FAAB sp you can bid on one...
Take your 4-3 cry baby @ss back to lenny and pitch him your bs

Gekko -- Do you actually read posts before you angrily reply to them?
I said you suggested the change because you thought the current draft process is flawed.
Exactly which part of that do you disagree with?
You think the randomness is flawed. The randomness wouldn't matter to you if you thought all the draft spots were equal, right?
I wasn't trying to be controversial.

I wouldn't want #1-2 to start with in a lge of 14-15 teams. To be further punished with the modified order would make it even worse.
The result = same problem as before;it just shifts the bad slots (at least based on this yr's draft) from the end to the beginning.

What an interesting partnership between Ico and Liquid.
A level headed, analytically oriented, even tempered gentleman
and an earthy, passionate, easily angered powder keg
Hey Ico, you'd like my son, who made his fortune during the glory internet bubble days as a day trader. His personality profile might be closer to Liquid's though.

We may have a run on the Internet stocks once again before the end of this year. GOOG is a monster and we have owned a decent position in it at 104 all the way up to 160's.
More importantly, my hedge group is currently buying The Singing Machine (AMEX: SMD). Company makes and distributes karaoke machines and is cleaning up the balance sheet very nicely. You can call it the proverbial CHristmas play....but rumor on the street is that they are looking to strike a co-partnership deal with American Idol. Have your boy look at it. We feel 300% move from current levels is not out of the question before end of 2004.

I'm 100% against 1-14-14-whatever in football.
We could probably fine the same player drafted at both ends of round 3 in all of the drafts this year. This would not make a difference.

Take your 4-3 cry baby @ss back to lenny and pitch him your bs I thought I posted some time ago that it’s best we ignore each other and go our separate ways, but I see you are still (choose the word that fits – fascinated, jealous, envious, etc…). Let me reiterate…please consider this as confirmation that any post you direct at me is unwanted and will go unanswered. I have no interest in having dialogue with you. Get it? Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Maybe you can focus your extra time and energy on making a bet with someone on the MB, and then if you win the bet, ask Greg for prizes for you and your partner???? The nerve of some people...thinking they deserve a prize for nothing. I have a feeling what Greg REALLY wanted to say about your request…but Greg, ever the gentlemen, responded with a polite rejection. I have a feeling that this post was actually you talking as opposed to the BS pen you usually write with. I feel sorry for you. THANKS!

As as Cowboy fan , I would take a Tony Dorsett, Drew Pearson, or Tony Hill picture...
Ico is a Jets fan and would probably love a signed New York Sack Exchange pic, or possibly Wesley Walker, Lam Jones, or even Adrian Murrell.

Yes, you do deserve an autographed photo for winning that bet. And I think Jersey Paul should get on eBay right now and buy it! That seems like the fair answer, don't you think?
Good luck the rest of the way and JP will have those photos shipped directly to your homes soon. DOUBLY FINAL…THANKS!

P.S. No need responding in this thread or another. Your posts will NOT be read.
As for my life credentials, I'll leave you with this. I'm a high school dropout. I live with my mom (in the basement actually). I work as a water delivery guy making a little above minimum wage. And you are my message board beeoootch. Go figure!
