Has there been any decision made on how to handle no show owners in either live or on line games? We have not developed anything new for the DC outside of what we had with STATS two years ago. We are making sure everything with the back-end game system is good to go and adding the new PPR for RBs in the Primetime is a bit of a programming addition that we're doing now. We have so much on our plate that I don't think the DC will be any different than it was in the past with STATS. I'm not sure how that compared to last year's DC live scoring. As I stated on another thread, we will have a live scoring app for cell phones coming soon, but I don't think it's going to solve how DC owners want those totals displayed.

No show owners?? The rules clearly state that we'll use the STATS Top 300 list until that owner shows up. If we know that owner has failed to show despite being paid we do all we can to replace him or have a staff member fill in and pick that team according to our list. Nothing has changed there.

Josh Freeman, Matthew Stafford or Eli Manning? 1. VJax. Stud. Stud. Stud.

2. Forte. Love Gore, but Forte is safer.

3. SJax. Love the PPR potential.

4. Ryan slam dunk. Flacco still hasn't taken the next step.

5. Mathews. Love JStew but not with Williams there. Moreno is just a guy. Mathews has issues but is a great talent.

6. Clark. Like them both a lot but Witten was being forcefed by Kitna last season. Romo will get the ball more to Austin while also getting Bryant involved.

7. Eli. He's the safest. Stafford has the highest upside but comes with considerably more risk than the other two.

I'll tell you, I can't believe the publicity the QB job in Denver is receiving now. I mean, c'mon, I know the country loves Tim Tebow but he's a second-year QB who probably should be a backup for another year or two. And he should accept it like Aaron Rodgers did and continue to get better. If he stays second string to start the season, that's not a deathknell. It's a progression to eventually become a starter. Heck, even as a freshman at Florida he was a part-timer, so why is this any different.

But this note from Rotoworld about Tebow shows the over the top hype of the situation:

ESPN's Rick Reilly is the latest to call the quarterback competition in Denver "over."
Reilly lives in the Denver and has close ties to Broncos Executive VP of Football Operations John Elway. "Orton won by the kind of margin Kim Jong Il wins elections," writes Reilly, who says the entire locker room is in Orton's corner. Tebow will be the second quarterback in during the Broncos' preseason opener as he battles with Brady Quinn for the backup job.

OUCH. WOW.

Tom, are you concerned about Marques Colston's knee? He's missed five straight days of practice now and it looks like this could be more of an issue than we thought. What's your take on this?

I'm very concerned. There's still time for him to practice fully and without incident before the season starts but coming off another knee surgery I'm very concerned about this. I was liking him as a value pick in the WR2 range but I'm backing off him right now.

What's the latest on Kenny Britt's situation? Is the NFL going to suspend him for any of his arrests during the lockout or is he getting off without any suspension? He's starting to excel in Titans' camp, but he has so many personal issues that I wonder if you can trust him for a full season. What's the latest on Britt and if he'll be suspended or not?

One more here: MJD is not travelling with the team for tonight's opener at New England. Do you still feel safe drafting MJD in the first round? If you do, do you have to handcuff Rashad Jennings earlier than you'd like? I must say, I'm worried about MJD's knees and someone would have to convince me very hard to grab him over the other top wideouts at the end of the first round. How about you?

OUCH. WOW. can't believe this really. Orton is a journeyman at best. he got benched when games were important last season cause he sucked. tebow came in AS A ROOKIE and energized that team nearly winning all his games.

and how do you "win" based on camp performance for a week?

please trade tebow to the niners. please!
