For some reason selecting conditional bids in NFFC is way less user friendly than it currently is in NFBC (Baseball). Everytime you add a conditional bid, your filter criteria is lost and you have to redo it. After 50 or so times across 5 teams, I feel like a hamster pressing its nose against a button 50 times to get a food pellet. Despite all my rage I'm still just a rat in a cage.

-Craig [/QUOTE]Hate to help my competitors...but if you have your page set for your conditional bids.....instead of clicking on "conditional bid" to go to another page, simply right click on "conditional bid" and open it to another page. This enables you to stay on the page with your main criteria, instead of having to constantly click and click again.....you can continue to add all of your conditional bids from this one page.

I'm sure a lot of you are well aware of this, but I thought I would help out our old people who don't know how to use a computer!

As a NY NFFC owner living in Queens. I elect to travel home on friday night after the auctions and come back the following morning being able to take the subway or car home.

I would definitely choose AC over NYC you are able to get a room (usually comp'd) for a better price and the gambling is a plus.That means I get to crash at the casino and not have to worry about the trip home.

I think for those who live in the boroughs or the island , the city is a good choice but we have alot guys coming up and down the seaboard and maybe the choice of Conn and AC might be good options.

I know that NYC has a large following so you would be hesitant in leaving that venue all together but I think AC would be a great 4th city. I'm sure that you would be able to fill up atleast 4 leagues asap.

I understand that the southeast is not represented but fantasy football is a form of gambling (imo) and what better place to get gamblers to gamble than in AC. I think it's a no brainer our southeast friends can still get to the Vegas,NYC or Chicago on a direct flight.

I think price point is a good issue that John brought up. Pricing is a mind manipulation...why does $999 sound so much cheaper than $1000...

I think that a price point of $1250 for the 14 team and $999 for the 12 team. I think those are very soothing numbers with an additional $50 for a co-owner

I was able to do a WCOFF auction event and I'm with Billy.The NFFC has the best customer service by far with knowledgeable auctioneers and facilitators. If some WCOFF owners were able to get a taste of the NFFC they would definitely join our family.

I think we can create a buzz in the 12 team event as being the prequel to the WCOFF 12 team.

1. Was the 3+ hour time inbetween main events just right, too long or too short? From an operational standpoint we need at least 5 hours between the start time of the two events, but was 6 hours the appropriate timeframe? Why or why not?

It was too long for NYC I think two hours is sufficient.

2. Was the $1,300 cost for each main event just right or too high? Should we keep one of the events at $1,300 and one lower? If lower, at what price point (keeping in mind that it would then affect the overall prize structure)?

$1250 for the classic and $999 for the NBC

3. If one of the events went to a lower price point, which one would you choose: NFFC Primetime (14 teams) or NFFC Classic (12 teams)? Why would you choose that one over the other main event?

The classic is where the diehards play so I think there is ceiling as far as growth but alot of fantasy players are more than familiar with the 12 teamers. I would definitely make the classic higher and the NBC lower

5. I'd like to find a suitable time for an NFFC Super League because I believe folks will compete in that format, but this year we shoved it in at a rough time on Sunday afternoon. Would Saturday night be an option or is that too much in one day? Would starting the NFFC Ultimate at 9 a.m. PST and the Super at noon be too much in one day??

I didn't do either this year, but I think that three drafts are asking alot and many owners want to hang out after the draft on Saturday.

6. The phone option that we offered this year with MockDraftCentral.com worked well as we hosted two NBC leagues with folks on the phone and the league available online as well. By allowing owners to voice their picks, there were no issues with picking wrong players online or time-out issues or computer glitches. This is a format we may consider in the future as well with travel costs likely to be high again next year. Is expanding online an okay option for NFFC participants? Again, why or why not?

That's why we call it a LIVE main event. I understand the need for growth but if you want to include the phone ins and computers I'm against. Why would anyone want to leave the comfort of their home with all the computer access and luxuries of home.

Make a $50,000 on-line championship that way you would only need five or six leagues having a lower league championship prize along with lower payout for total points champion.That way putting more money towards the grand prize.

One thing I didn't see discussed in this thread was the time difference between events on Friday Night. I took part in both Auction Events and we didn't finish the NBC until 4:45 and the NFFC was scheduled to start at 5:00, granted Tom pushed it back to 5:15 but that wasnt enough. We started the day at 1 and didn't finish until after 9:30, I think you should push back the start of the 2nd auction by an hour for next year so we at least have 40-60 mins to get everything in place. I know a few others who did both felt the same way.

Mike Mike - Greg and I have already talked about this and we will space the events out better on Friday. That was poor planning on our part and I knew that day that we should have spaced things out better. We've had the 1 pm/5 pm starts every other year in NY but it's always been a tight fit. Look for the events to be either Noon/5 pm or maybe 1/6 pm. My preference would be the former but again you guys tell us what you would prefer and we'll make it happen.
