H2H Exposed Part 1
"Of course not, but if a guy is the league's overall top scorer but is in the bottom half of weekly scoring half the time, I would not consider him deserving of the league title. "
Please show me one instance of this.
Are there really teams scoring 190 in four weeks, and 90 in the other five?
That team would be in a playoff at the end and would have a tough time winning over 3 weeks.
RT would be 7-2 in the half/half thing in LV1. That's all I have access to.

He's a perfect boom-bust example, not a 190/90 guy but top 4 vs bottom 4 weeks average is 171/114.

You found ONE team that MIGHT fit your concern.
I bet I can find a DOZEN 3rd place teams that are within 50 points of the number FIVE team in their league and don't deserve a shot at winning the title.

I just looked at my league John, I don't think this will be the case in every league, but it does happen.

Wow.. LV4...
you are 6-3 with 1052.7
Hammerheads are 5-4 with 1280.7.
I can see why you use the word "luck" so frequently today.
I would hope that most here would rather see the argument be more against teams with 1052.7 making the playoffs in any possible way than teams with 1280.7.

And I could've easily been 7-2 if not for gargbage time for Chris Cooley last week. As you can see, my personal team does not rule how I think the rules should be.
BTW, my auction team currently is 1st in points yet only 5-4.

My SAT team is 22.6 behind #1 in pts, 50 ahead of #3 in pts, and is 4-5.

I'm not saying all 60 dont count John, I'm saying that my team was on the verge of being even more un-deserving of a good record.
Meanwhile, suppose team #3 outscores you by 51 over the next few weeks but has a crappy team heading into the playoffs - don't you think its more fair that you're both in for the final 3 weeks? Also, haven't you learned not to do a victory dance with the season just 80% over? Need I bring up the NFBC.
