IF Faulk's healthy....lol
He's still not healthy enough to play according to recent news. Just this week was able to practice 3 days in a row.

Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

Yup, Faulk's a risk, no doubt about it. But in a 1 point/reception league, his value as a RB2 was too good to pass up. Take away the 1 point rule and I would've taken Dillon without hesitation.

The problem is Tom, you used a 2 and a 5 to get one slot that will likely be a RBBC. I don't think that's value.

I don't see it as a RBBC and I am 100 percent convinced Mike Martz doesn't see it that way either. When Faulk is healthy, he'll get the majority of the carries and plenty of receptions. When (and yes it will be when) he gets hurt, Jackson steps in and should be a terrific starting option. Would I do this in a league that didn't have 1 point/reception? Nope, but that bonus made Faulk too good to pass up at that spot.

Greg, you've got to love Tom Coughlin for being a straight-up guy. When he says open competition he means it. Eli gets to start with the first unit this week. Your thoughts.

Well, I have to agree about taking a gamble on Faulk. I have pick 8 in another league that rewards 1 point per reception and have been targeting Faulk since I got my draft position. I wonder if round 5 was too early for the backup while other teams are concentrating on filling a roster... You did it because you wanted to guarantee you got his backup, but could he have slipped another 2 rounds.... Thoughts?
Thanks,
Pete

I don't think Jackson slips two more rounds. I actually thought someone might reach for him in the 4th. That's the problem with handcuffing -- many times you have to take guys earlier than you would like. That's a downside. On the plus side, having the Rams' RB as a RB2 should provide tremendous production.
As far as Manning, I think if he looks good, he may get the edge in that QB race. No matter what happens, Warner's on borrowed time. The clock's ticking on him.
