You seem to be very computer savvy. Now that we already played our head to head game. Can you manage my teams? I will give your kids free golf lessons in exchange and have him ready for a golf scholarship that will save you money!

Deal? Haha Renman. My daughter's already at college though, and my son is a high school baseball/hoops player. Golf's too frustrating for OCD perfectionists like my son and me! Good luck the rest of the way James.

Bye weeks posted with the players in the free agent pick page.
Replace %owned and %started with maybe current weeks players opponents def ranking vs position. Just dont need to see % owned and started. I think that helps more for baseball.

1) I agree with needing to see the players ranked by fantasy pts on the FAAB page, also the bye weeks.

2) You can see the free agents ranked by pts under the Stats menu, but can't pick up players from there. You then have to go to the free agent pickup page under Transactions. And back and forth for multiple players. Very frustrating.

3) It would also be nice to see my remaining FAAB budget right on the FAAB page, rather than having to go to a different page to find it. Last year's website showed this info.

4) When I go to the Roster Grid page and hit the "print" command, nothing happens.

5) The live scoring page is very slow to load compared with last year's version. And with multiple teams it makes it that much more tedious to keep track of them all.

i have to agree.. the free agent system page is not efficient.. it's annoying .. not even comparable to other leagues out there.. i think they need to tinker with that.. hopefully they will

Man, the FA system needs major help! That was grueling and it's just week #1.

Please help.

Free agency & live scoring need to be set up similarly to the way it is in baseball for the NFBC.

The season was spent perfecting these two interfaces for baseball and now they're both as good as it gets.

I'm not really sure why it was set up completely differently for football.

I just finished entering my FA pickups for my 5 NFFC Leagues, and here's my take:

1) If you already know who you want to pickup, who you're gonna drop, and the bid you're going to make then the FA interface is great. Entering the players and the bids is a snap and very intuitive. I especially like the "copy" function where you don't have to re-enter a new, long Claims List (Bid Group would be a better name) to make one minor change in creating a new Claims List.

My only suggestion here is that once you name a player to be dropped within a Claims List, then all other player bids within that Claims List should default to that same dropped player rather than having to re-enter that same dropped player for every bid within that group. That's a just a minor inconvenience, though. Overall, I really like this interface.

2) If instead you open the FA interface page and try to do research regarding your FA pickups, then this interface is lacking. I won't rehash the suggestions already made in this regard, but it would require a lot of going back and forth between the Stats page and the FA page to make your decisions.

As the system is set up currently, it's much easier to do all my Waiver Wire research using the Stats page first to determine my pickups and bid amounts. Once that's done, then going to the FA to enter my pickups is easy as pie.

I'm OK proceeding in that fashion, but I can see how others would prefer a single interface where both tasks could be accomplished efficiently and simultaneously.

I wish there was some way the IT guys could simply be shown the previous years system and copy it.

I have had all kinds of problems with the live scoring page. It barely functions. When it does it is the slowest thing I have run on my computer. Once it is up it looks like of nice but the functionality is so bad it is easier for me to do the stats by hand.

The free agent system from years past was great. Shrink attack makes a great point. If you already know exactly who you want and what you need it is tolerable. But every week (in the past) I would play around with the faab page and look for guys who may have value or may even simply have a good match up this next week.

I am really struggling with it. I know we have a number of extremely computer savvy guys involved with the NFFC and this forum. However, I assure you there are large numbers of NFFC participants who are not extrememly computer savvy and how good or bad their experience is will be directly related to if they join the event next year.

How functional the stat site ends up being is right at the top of things that bring someone back to a fantasy contest. I know others are struggling with it simply based on friends who are contacting me (thinking I have lots of NFFC experience) asking me what to do and how to work it.

I have faith the game operators are working on the things people are outlining in this and other threads.
