MY POINT IS WALKER IS NOT THAT HIGHLY TOUTED. BRETT FAVRE MAKES HIM LOOK HIGHLY TOUTED. I AM NOT GOING TO SAY HE SUCKS BECAUSE EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT. YOU TALK ABOUT KNEE SURGERY I WILL GIVE YOU THAT. HOWEVER LOOK AT T.O. HE BROKE IS LEG AND ANKLE AND NO MATTER IF IT WAS S.F. PHI OR DALL HE IS STILL PUTTING UP NUMBERS. WHY? BECAUSE HE A GREAT TALENT. JAVON WALKER JUST ISN'T IN MY OPINION. ALSO DON'T MAKE EXCUSES FOR CUTLER, ROMO CAME IN MID SEASON AND PUT UP O.K. NUMBERS WHY NOT CUTLER?

Didn't Cutler average 19.7 fp/game after he becamce the starter last year which by the way was more than Favre, Hasselback, and the exact same as Romo?

I was in this same draft. Prior to taking Brady and Bulger, Manning and Palmer were already gone; as in most leagues. Personally, when Kortex took Bulger and Brady, it started an early run on QB's in round 4 (earlier than in most leagues). Immediately, Breese went next. At pick 5, that forced my hand to take McNabb and before it came back to me in round 5 Kitna, Romo and Hasslebeck were also gone.

Funny how one move like that can start a position run. I was planning on Bulger in round 5. To see him go at 3.14 really threw a monkey wrench in my game plan.

Happy with my team though and think 3RR worked really good overall. If LJ signs and Priest in a non-factor, I will be very pleased with LJ at 1.5 and Edge at 2.10

So your saying that the drafting of Brady and Bulger so early back to back was a strategy that could work?

THANKS WAYNE. IN MY OPINION I THINK (AS ALL YOU GUYS KNOW) DIFFERENT DRAFTS CAUSES DIFFERENT PICKS. LIKE LAST NIGHT ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO WERE TAKEN THIRD ROUND LAST NIGHT WAST TAKEN IN THE 4TH ON WEDNESDAY. SO WHEN DRIVER FELL TO ME LAST NIGHT I TOOK HIM. HE HAS BEEN GETTING 80 REC AND OVER 1200 YARDS THE LAST THREE YEARS. SO I BELIEVE THAT CAN HELP MY TEAM. HOWEVER ON WED. NIGHT I SAW NOTHING THAT WOULD HELP ME. SO INSTEAD OF TAKING WHAT I FEEL A QUESTIONABLE PEOPLE I CHOSE TO LOCK UP A POSITION FOR SURE. NOW AFTER LOOKING AT THE DRAFT WED. I BELIEVE 31 QB WERE DRAFTED. NOW IF YOU TAKE 14 TEAMS X 2 QB THAT 28 QB PER LEAGUE WHICH LEAVES 4. WHICH THE LIKES OF TARVARIS JACKSON, WHOEVER STARTS IN CLEVELAND, HUARD OR CROYLE, WHICH NONE OF YOU WOULD WANT TO START I KNOW. SO WHY NOT LOCK UP A SURE THING WAS MY THOUGHT PROCESS. AND YES I WOULD DO IT AGAIN. SO WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

I understand the thinking here. I know for sure at least one of my top 5 picks in each of the last 3 years that I wish I had back. I cashed in 2 of those years while drafting a top 5 dud.

I've looked back on those drafts and wished I could change player X to any number of choices that actually produced. You guys should know by now that you can't declare a winner in July.

On the other hand...ridicule of our picks is all part of good MB trash talk isn't it.

I LIKE TALKING TRASH TOO. HECK I LOVE FANTASY FOOTBALL PERIOD JUST ALL LOVE YOU. AT THE END OF THE DAY ANYBODY AND I DO MEAN ANYBODY DRAFT CAN BE CRITIQUED.
