Time To Finalize Draft Champions Leagues
I'm sure Tom will have an area set aside at CitiField for the $1300 dc folks. Look at it this way: it'll be 3 or 4 guys making fun of the Vegas folks for all of their lousy picks.

Time To Finalize Draft Champions Leagues
Just curious if a decision has been made on the $1300 upgrade.
To me, it seems like either way we go there's going to be "mixed cities leagues".
Only being one short on filling the $1300 upgraded league, I'd think it's pretty much up to you on what you want to do Greg. I'm sure if you finally give your blessing on this, the last spot will fill right away.
I'd just like to know one way or the other with less than two weeks until the event.
I think we should also decide if you're still planning any changes to the overall DC contest. If so, we should probably lay them on the table now so if there's anyone unhappy with the changes, they'd have time to make other arrangements if they so choose.
Thanks,
Glenn

1. Glenn Schroter
2. Glenn Lowy
3. Jules McLean (LV)
4. Joe Berg
5. Derek Anderson (LV)
6. Joe Conte
7. Ken Magner (tentative, LV)
8. Mark Moyer (LV)
9. Terry Lewis
10. Armanda Hanson
11. Brian Zeid
12. Tom Kay
13. George Kleemann Greg & Tom,
I'd like to pull my name off of this list. At the same time I'd like to make my participation in the Tuesday Super confirmed rather than tentative.
In the event that I'm the reason that this event will not take place, I will participate. My participation in the super is not contingent on that happening. I want into that no matter what (the Super) and do not want to be the reason that this event doesn't happen. Make Sense? Let me know.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Got it Joe. I'll add you to the Tuesday Super as we now have you and one more person to add there. That should help us get closer to filling up that Super League, so I'll do that now.
The $1300 DC would leave so many other partial DC leagues in the other cities that it's going to be tough to pull this off. I'll address this shortly but the DC is going to be a mess. I'm trying to fill up two leagues in Las Vegas, but we'll have partial leagues in every other city. If we do the DC, we could have two phone drafts in the three other cities. It doesn't make sense to do that.
Again, I'll address this shortly, but my primary goal is getting four full leagues and somehow going forward with the DC Championship with an overall prize. Let's see if there's any way we can do that.

Glenn
No, no, just the $1300 league!! We'll figure this out shortly. I'm looking at all cities and all leagues this morning to get a better read on everything. I need to readjust my focus after being in the studio with Kay these last two days!!

Time To Finalize Draft Champions Leagues
Okay, we now have 25 Draft Champions League owners signed up for Las Vegas at 11 am PT, making it extremely tough to convert this championship to one league at $1300. I'd like to do this if it didn't implode the rest of the cities, but at this point in the game with the $1300 not even full and some owners opting out I just don't feel comfortable making the rest of the cities wait on this plan.
So let's move forward with the DC Championship and see if we can still get four full leagues at $850 per team. We need to finalize a lot if we're going to pull off a DC championship, so look for an email from me soon. We have a LOT of work to do here even staying at $1300 per team.
Here's the list for Las Vegas. I'm going to push hard to fill this one up as we just need three more owners. Then I think we can get three more leagues between the three other cities and online drafters. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience.
