Like the Auction Championship, we now must cancel the original DC Championship and get everyone to agree to a new, smaller DC Championship. Our original plan was to pay out 75% overall with seven leagues. We will now pay out 82% and keep all of the league prizes the same, $6,300 in league prizes just like before. NOTHING has changed there. Now you have to beat only 55 teams for the grand prize, not 77.
But everyone will have to agree to the new prize pool for the overall. Again, the entire payout has been increased to 82 percent and the grand prize has fallen from just $10,000 to $8,000, but we need everyone to agree to it. I'll send an email out on Monday but the new overall prizes will be:
Overall Prizes:
1st = $8,000
2nd = $2,500
3rd = $1,500
4th = $1,000
5th = $800
Now let me get these last spots filled and then we'll have GAME ON!! I agree with the changes.

We're still in too Greg. Nice job pulling this off. I agree w/ whomever suggested more prominent advertising for this format, albeit if next year, not now. Too many people have never heard of it, but it really does remove a couple luck elements - start/sit decisions and waiver wire. "Feel like you always draft a quality team, one that has no need to pound the waiver wire the first couple weeks? Meanwhile, your opponents with lesser drafts steal all the waiver wire wonders and become immediately more competitive? Hate seeing everyone's RBs go off each year against some bad run D (i.e. OAK), only to watch YOUR RBs lay an egg against them when it's your turn?... Then the DC format is for YOU!".

Even though I wish we had a Friday doubleheader of DC's, I'm in & ready to roll with this setup. We were so close with the $1300, even if it was private-it would have been HUGE!

I'm going to fill this last spot in Las Vegas hopefully and then we need to double-check on our last spot in Chicago. He was originally signed up for the 4 pm DC. I wish we could have gotten more New York DC signups, but we'll form one league with the online guys and Geoff can make the picks online to keep everyone happy. This will work if my numbers are correct.
Stay tuned. No draft picks today because I still have a lot of work to do, but let's set the KDS deadline for noon ET on Monday and with any luck we'll have draft spots for all of the DC leagues shortly after that.
Thanks all.
