I'm sure your parents will be very proud.

You are quite the smart ass on the computer ... you do know you may get your chance to be a smart ass in real life if I come to NY in person with the rest of the Chicago guy's. Are you going to have this much courage in person? You do know the difference between being a jerk to someone on a web site whom you will never meet ... and someone you might get to meet in 10 months? Just curious?

ugly,

Please stop. Don't lower yourself to that stuff. This is exactly the stuff Greg/Tom asked for you guys NOT to do anymore on these boards. Don't you think this is getting slightly silly? You are being a jerk to me, I am trying to talk about football.

Now, back to football.

-Anyone watch the Rutgers/Louisville game? I thought it was unreal. Now I boycott college football for the most part because to me it is no more a sport than is figure skating or olympic diving. Are those things athletic? yes, but if there is no tangible way to keep score when ultimately determining a champion, to me it is not a sport, it is a performance. Not unlike theater. Until college football comes up with a playoff system (not sure why we can't have a final four with the bowls and play one extra game to crown an actual champion), I boycott college football. I cannot stand how we talk every year about teams who "staked their claim to the title" or "so and so was not impressive enough in winning to earn a right to play for the championship.." It is a joke.

However, last nights game in New Jersey was really a feel good moment in sports in a day and age were we have so much negative going on. It really was something special...

Guys, if the posts can't stay on topic this thread will be locked. Seriously. This personal stuff needs to stop. I asked politely in my thread last week. I honestly don't care who's at fault or who started what or who said what, I'm simply asking that it stop now, ok?

Thank you.

Renman

I was being a jerk to you ... you really p*ssed me off ... but that is absolutely NO excuse. Your correct about this dropping down to a low level. I apologize to everyone for my part of that.

All is not good between us. None of my opinions have changed ... but I should not let your actions and your words make me drop mine to that of a third grader. It p*sses me off even more that I actually let you p*ss me off in the first place ... I am usually not that easy to get to.

I'm going to lock this thread. If someone wishes to continue the NFL discussion a new thread can be created. Thanks.
