Oh jeez, here we go again!
Tell you what Jack, you ignore the fact we disagree on whether Wayne can still be productive with a healthy Peyton Manning and I'll forget you told me I was wrong about Caleb Haine and this would be the week I'd be raving about how good he is.
Sound good?

Sound good?
Touche. I was thinking about that yesterday when the Bears put up a solid 3 points, the same amount of INT's that Hanie threw.
At least I can admit when I am wrong!

Big swings and misses on both and I've acknowledged that in this forum. You just can't get past the fact we disagree about one particular player. I'm not sure why you are hell bent on using that example as an indication I think I'm infallible. Nothing could be further from the truth. If I make a bold call and it goes south you won't have to look very far to find me. I'm right here.

Please do not bring up Mario Manningham. Just when I start putting him out of my mind, he randomly gets mentioned here. He and Felix were on a two man mission to ruin my fantasy season.

Jared,
I think Manning will probably be a Colt next year. My guess is that they would want to bring Luck in similar to what GB did with Rodgers but who knows. If he's a Colt then I would think his drafts spots moves up to somewhere in the late 3rd to early 4th by September. In early drafts I would guess 5th to 6th. That's just a guess.
Chad,
It's hard to say what Manningham would have done if he stays healthy this year. I would think that Cruz would not be breaking out right now if it wasn't for the injuries. Felix fooled me too. I really thought he had a good shot at 230 points this year.

I agree Wayne that the GB scenario sounds great and all but eventually the Colts are going to realize just how bad the defense is and actually try to do something about it RIGHT?!?! I don't see how that can be done with Peyton and Luck eating up such a huge portion of the salary cap... and this is coming from the biggest Peyton Manning fan in the world...
The Colts are a playoff team with Peyton... wait I meant Peyton is a playoff team with anyone but do you think they would at least consider the idea of dealing the #1 pick for a massive haul of defensive talent from a rebuilding team? I doubt it considering Peyton's age and injury risk but its an interesting thought

If the Colts are able to replicate the Packers' approach (i.e. going from a Hall of Fame QB to another franchise starter) that would be a huge positive step for them to take. What the Packers have done and what the 49ers did years ago with Montana to Young is not the norm. Teams typically struggle trying to replace a Hall of Fame QB. If the Colts are able to transition from Manning to Luck and Luck is as good as advertised they put themselves in position to remain a prominent team for many more years to come.
