Packers with another TD, this time a Grant run. Grant looks real good.

People ask me why I don't like Brandon Jackson and one of the reasons is he always goes down on initial contact. That happened on his first carry tonight. He had a huge hole but was brought down by the first guy who hit him. He gained five yards on the play so his YPC looks great but that's deceiving because a talented RB would have gotten 10+ yards on the play. Jackson leaves a ton of yards on the field. That's been his biggest problem his entire NFL career.

Jamal Lewis looks old.

No targets for Edwards. Mike Furrey very active as the No. 3 WR. Robiskie might have fallen to fourth on the depth chart. The Packers were hyping up TE Jermichael Finley all off-season and he certainly looks like a new player this year. Just 22, this second-year pro has great size and is an ideal target for Rodgers. Last year he rarely ran the right routes and dropped passes when they featured him in the Red Zone. But he's looked pretty good tonight the way they've featured him.

Keep an eye on him.

Mason Crosby hit the uprights on a 60-yard field goal. He had plenty of distance on that one. Of course, the ball flies better in Green Bay in August rather than December. :D

The Browns are awful. I think you're taking a big risk drafting anyone connected to that offense this season. Edwards is going way too high for my taste. If I could get him as a WR3 I'd gamble on him there but when you combine his issues with the team's major questions at QB and in the running game, I find it difficult to believe he's going to be the strong WR2 many are envisioning him to be.

Per Rotoworld...

Updating a previous item, Braylon Edwards was in the lineup for the Browns' preseason opener.

Edwards recently re-tweaked his early-camp ankle injury, but was healthy enough to start. The contract-year wideout promptly dropped a Brady Quinn pass for a would-be touchdown in the second quarter against Green Bay.

Another throw, another drop!

Was Orton horrible,or is the SF defense much improved?
That interception he threw in the endzone was inexcusable,as he had an open guy in the front right corner, and threw to the covered guy on the inside. Tom,

Saw you on TV at the Pittsburgh game. I know it's no big deal to you, but just in case you didn't know.

See you in NYC,

John
[/QUOTE]John,
If you saw me,it had to be standing on the upper ramps,i love to watch the games from there.Things can be seen from there that you dont get watching tv or even sitting in the lower levels(which is where my seat is).
Heres what i got from the STEELER game.
I hope i am wrong, but mendy might be a looks like tarzan, plays like jane type.Hurts to even say it.
This game was a lovefest,so many connections on both teams, lots of hugs and conversations before the game. And during one tv timeout during the game,i saw boldin standing on the field, near the STEELER sideline, and Hines Ward came onto the field, stood right next to him,and they had a nice little chat the whole timeout, like best buddies.
I have read where Leinert looked good, but i am not so sure.To me it looked like he always locked on his first option, never checking down.I hope i am wrong there,as i love me some FITZ this year, and if warner goes down,Leinert has to step up.St pierre is not the answer.
