Who's Coming To The NFFC?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Aug 13, 2004 3:47 am

We're glad to welcome yet another industry guy to the National Fantasy Football Championship as Ted Kasten of DraftDynamix.com has signed up to compete in the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. Ted has a great new draft software program that can be used as preparation for the big draft or on Draft Day and it definitely makes every upcoming pick easy. Fantasy Sports Magazine is currently working with Ted and has provided 2004 projections for every player that are updated daily as things happen. Anyway, welcome to the growing NFFC family, Ted, best of luck with your new product and good luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Thanks for the warm welcome Greg. It would've been tough to sit through that Saturday the 4th, had I not joined the NFFC, knowing that there's a live FF draft going on at the Hiton only minutes from my doorstep. But now my partner and I are onboard, so we're looking forward to the challenge!

Let's give it up for another East Coast signup as James Mack of Wallington, New Jersey has just joined the NFFC and will be drafting live in the main event at the New York Hilton on Saturday, Sept. 4th. James is new to our family of high stakes events, but the guy is a big-time bowler, golfer and fantasy football player, so he's like family to me. ;) Thanks for joining our GROWING NFFC family, James, and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Let's get back to the business of announcing new signups as this week is sure to produce many new members. Our latest signup is Bruce Barnard of Manassas, Virginia, who becomes our 42nd person from the National Fantasy Baseball Championship to join our gridiron contest. Bruce teamed up with Meat Loaf in the NFBC's Auction League in March, but he's tentatively scheduled to team up with Jim Hofstetter in the NFFC right now. Thanks once again for trusting in us, Bruce, and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Okay, we have another signup for Las Vegas as the week is getting off to a good start. Ross competed in The Draft 2003 last year and was in the FFTOC's high-stakes event before that folded. He's looking for a good game to play that will be around three weeks from now and we've assured him the NFFC is the game for him. Thanks for trusting in us, Ross, and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.
