Who's Coming To The NFFC?
Let's welcome our fourth official NFFC signup of the morning and then break for lunch. Midas Mike has recruited our next member to the NFFC as Steve Burns of Flushing, New York has just signed up for the main event on Saturday, Sept. 4th at the New York Hilton. Steve may be bringing a partner to the draft, but that's for another day. For now, he's intent on winning his league prize and the $100,000 grand prize. Thanks for trusting in us, Mike, and welcome aboard.

Signup No. 5 today comes in the form of Steve Gorder of Kirkland, Washington, who will be drafting in the NFFC's main event at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. Steve is new to our family of high stakes contests and we welcome him aboard. Best of luck, Steve, in the hunt for the $5,000 league prize and $100,000 grand prize.

Thanks Q, another typo from me and Tom today. Can anyone tell we're worn down yet? I've changed that as the last thing I want now is to be accused of hyping a wrong grand prize.
JP, as long as I get older by one day each day, I know I'm doing something right. When my age stops for good, then I know something is wrong. At that point, I'm afraid the noon hour hoops game has ended for me.

Who's Coming To The NFFC?
Let's add one more person to the Draft Masters League in New York as Todd Zola has become only the sixth person to sign up for every event offered by the NFBC and NFFC. Todd did selective shopping with the NFFC this past week, adding the Auction League first, then the main event and now the Draft Masters League. Okay, we have 12 DM members between New York and Chicago, so that's a possible marriage. Keep 'em coming and let's have some fun with this fun setup. Oh, thanks Todd for trusting in us once again and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000 league prize in this one and all the other prizes you're competing for.

Who's Coming To The NFFC?
When you can't sleep at night, you go to the computer for good news and sure enough it was there waiting for me this morning. Three more NFFC signups came in over the night, vaulting us past 200 total signups and ensuring that we will fill AT LEAST 15 leagues in the NFFC. I can say that with confidence because I know how many people have contacted me via phone and are planning to get their payments in this weekend. If you want to be assured of getting in a full league, please don't wait until the last minute to sign up, although we'll definitely do everything we can to fill up a 16th league......and maybe more (!!!).
Okay, let's give it up for Sean McCardell of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who signed up for the NFFC's main event at the New York Hilton. Sean is flying solo at the draft table, but he's confident he has what it takes to win the $5,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize. Thanks for trusting in us, Sean, and welcome to our very unique NFFC family.

Who's Coming To The NFFC?
We vaulted past 200 with the double signup of brothers (I'm guessing, it's too early in the morning to ask them) from Odessa, Texas as they came in before the midnight hour, giving us eight new signups again on Thursday. First let's welcome Lee Friske, who will be drafting alone at the Flamingo in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Anton Friske will also be drafting at the Flamingo, where I know we'll have AT LEAST six full leagues now. Anton contacted the NFFC earlier this month with a simple e-mail "are there still spots open in the NFFC" and after a few weeks he finally jumped off the fence and brought someone along with him. We're glad he did as I gladly welcome both to the NFFC and wish them best of luck in the hunt for the $5,000 league prize and $100,000 grand prize.
This has been a great week of signups as we now have received 34 paid NFFC signups since Monday morning. We are prepared to close the registrations at midnight on Sunday (1 a.m. EST on Monday) and will pick the leagues and draft positions on Monday afternoon. It's my goal to announce all of the leagues and draft positions league by league on Monday afternoon and evening right hereon the Message Boards for all to see. Tom and I will stay here until that is done and will definitely have all of the leagues posted that night as I fly to Las Vegas Tuesday morning and it must be done before then.
So there you go. Keep the signups coming, but also be prepared to find out where you're drafting in just over three days. I hope you can stand the wait.

Are you going to conitinue taking signups after Monday, with the caveat that they may not get placed in a league, or is Sunday an absolute firm deadline?
Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

No signups after leagues are announced. Thanks.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?
