I'm here Johnny, for a little while longer if you want to get this back on track. Sounds good!!!!!

Should be interesting to see where Alexander ends up. I have a gut feeling He goes to Detroit. Just my gut.

And again Julius will be great value like you said.
Honestly, I would have a hard time taking him even in Detroit. SA has ALWAYS been a beneficiary of a GREAT offensive line, and without he doesn't do much for me.

Julius is an intriguing pick, but most likely you will have to burn a 3rd rounder on him to find out. :D
No 3 rounder on Jones for me.

I am a Thomas Jones Fan though. I think Alot of guys are going to pass on T-Jones this year.

Im a honest guy, I had Thomas Jones Ranked 14th last year. Thought he would tear it up for the jets.
The Jets certainly improved their line (Faneca, and I believe a fullback (Tony Richardson), so a bounceback for T.Jones could happen.

I too was high on him early in the preseason, but soured on him by about early August, and only had him on one team last year.

He certainly is a "buy low" candidate this year.

I'm not sure about T.Jones yet. i like the O-line in NY esp w/ the addition of Faneca.

It would be great if the Jets somehow got McFadden on draft day. Then I would be excited! :D

Johnny....one guy I'm intrigued with this year is Maroney. I don't see the Pats passing as much this year.

I think BB wanted to stick it to the league every week last year.
he's had some time to cool off and his previous teams have run the ball much more. i look for that to return in 2008 and think Maroney will mirror Dillons stats from 3 years ago.

I also like JJ in Seattle as well as DeAngelo in Carolina this year. Rc,

Stay away from williams....Beware!!!! Let GLY have him.

If Kevin faluk Was gone I would Like Maroney a little. But Faulk will get all the rec's.

I hear everyone on the boards thinking the Pats are going to slow down. And I'm glad. The Pats won't break records but the Air attack will be pretty much the same. And Best in the League.

The only way the pats slow down is if Brady gets hurt.

I think Maroney's numbers DO go up (they can't possibly be worse), and instead of being a guy on the turn (or earlier in some cases last year  ) he now respresents some possible value.

That all being said, I agree Johnny, that he will NEVER be a guy who catches more than 20-25 passes in that offense, and therefore doesn't have a great deal of upside, as it will be VERY easy to be "gun shy" after this season.

WESTY!!!!!! ...thought so...love Westy - actually he was on 80% of SNAKEsquads last year and he's a GREAT talent as an all-around back man...that kat has proven to be a workhorse (not from RI though) and that, in addition to his many obvious talents, has forever put him over the top and in the ranks of the RB elite...SNAKE
I think all the first round backs are really solid this year. Well On my cheet sheet :D I would be happy with what ever slot I get.

Like Rc said some where....there will be alot of nice starts to draft in the first three rounds. Some nice combos put together if you play your cards right.
