They are #1 lifetime in points for WCOFF and NFFC live events. What does that prove? Z-man is the number one ranked fantasy football player in the world on a trupmed up WCOFF biased list. Unless the owners in this league want to toot their own horns, how would the average NFFC player know who to bet on? I do not know most other peoples credentials, only ours. If I want to try and compare them to Z, Billy, or others the info is to hard to get at.

"Part of the Field in LV4" Hi Lumpy:
All your points are valid. More than anything, I started this thread just to have some fun and talk up the most intriguing matchup to me in the field this year. It is kind of like saying who would win - the Steelers from the '70's or the'85 Bears. Well, now we get to see one of those matchups.
I know I'd probably feel a little slighted if I was part of "the field", which is a term by the way that I have not used in this thread. I feel that way a bit being in the league with the last two overall champions!

Now back to topic, I agree with Kevin(Not that I'm a betting Man) That's why they play the game. I mean Season! I'll take the field and Rob I'll give 1 1/2 to 1. For the 14 team League Only.

Slighted, smighted.
To be honest, Kyle and I do not care much what people think. If so, we would not usually follow the draft styles we do. We just like winning money!
My point is that there needs to be better objective data for the masses to look at, if so motivated, to determine who they should worry about in their league.
Right now all we have is a lifetime ranking list and postings on message boards.
If this league provides Greg the motivation to allow an outside source to review the NFFC data to date and generate a top list of players, that would be great!

You are right JohnZ,
And if we did not lose our first pick for seven games, our second pick for four games, and our fourth pick for twelve games we might have done better than fourth in our league in scoring.
Hell with just Steven Jackson playing 13 games we might have scored the 89 points we would have needed to beat you in points.
Its a shame you are not in this league.
I am sure you will do well with your #1 pick again.

Derek "Lumpy" Anderson Make that the #2 pick
So are you saying Ben, LT, Lynch, Turner, TJ, Holmes, Cotch, Calvin J, Welker, Bowe, H.Miller are a result of having the #1 pick? I only see LT on that.
LV3 baseball is almost as brutal as the makeup of your league there, so I don't envy your league at all. Someone very good is going to have a very bad season, and it really won't be a true reflection of their ability. But that's the nature of the beast these days.
Good luck to you...
John

I am saying we lost three of our top four picks for a large amount of the season and still did fairly well. Taking Benson over Housh was not our downfall. Injuries to our top picks were.
However, obviously leaving Housh for you was a windfall. Hopefully someone will leave a windfall for you this year!
