Here was the random draft order before KDS was applied:

1. Michael Miller
2. George Kleemann
3. Rob Dykhoff
4. K.J. Duke
5. Jules McLean
6. Johnny Frisella
7. Chris Goudey
8. Rich Dunn
9. Russ Steele
10. Marc Quitsch
11. Jon Clift
12. Rob Benetti
13. Matthew Bayley
14. William Cutting

The top three teams stayed the same with their draft spots, while five teams moved up in the draft and six teams moved down. Pretty interesting.

Also, two teams got their first draft preference and three other teams got their second draft preference. Nine of the 14 teams got their top 4 draft preference. Only two teams got a draft preference lower than 8th (11th for Rob and 13th for William).

Overall, owners got their 4.7th draft preference, compared to 7th in a random draft. So in essence, people moved up 2.3 spots than where they would have been in a random draft. That seems to be about par for early season satellite leagues.

I'll post the individual KDS preferences next.

Here are the 14 KDS preferences, not in any particular order:

1,2,3,4,5,14,13,12,6,7,8,11,9,10
1,2,3,4,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5
1,3,2,12,13,14,11,10,9,8,4,7,6,5
5,6,14,13,12,1,2,3,4,11,10,9,8,7
1,2,14,13,3,12,4,11,5,10,6,9,7,8
1,2,14,13,12,11,10,3,4,9,5,6,8,7
12,13,14,1,2,3,4,5,11,10,9,8,7,6
5,6,4,1,2,3,7,8,14,13,12,11,10,9
1,2,3,4,5,6,14,13,12,7,11,10,8,9
1,2,3,4,5,14,13,12,6,7,8,9,11,10
1,2,3,9,10,11,12,13,14,8,7,6,5,4
1,2,3,4,5,6,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7
1,7,6,5,4,3,2,8,9,10,11,12,13,14
1,14,2,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3

No. 1 was the top preference of 11 of 14 owners.

1-2-3 was the top preference for six of the 14 owners, with one owner going 1-3-2. That means half the field wants a top three pick.

11 owners had pick No. 14 as one of their top seven preferences. Only one owner had it as the last preference.

5 was the top preference of two owners and the last preference of two other owners. Interesting.

For all the newbies, this draft will use 3RR like in all of our NFFC drafts this year. That means that the third round starts out 14-1 after going 1-14 in Round 1 and 14-1 in Round 2. Round 3 goes back to 14-1 and then we go 1-14, 14-1, etc., from Round 4 through Round 18. 3RR is one reason that the draft preferences are so different among the owners, but it also has a good chance of balancing out the talent pool in these leagues.

Should be a fun, fun season. Let's keep it going as we'll offer at least one Draft Champions League a week throughout July as a great way to analyze the new NFFC format while giving folks a nice competitive early-season draft option. Enjoy everyone.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the 21st NFFC event I've entered. Out of those 21, I've had one event that I had a top three pick, and I paid 123 points to get it in the BBDS league. Greg, in the tradition of me yelling at Tom, What the ^&$!...lol..I get no luck with draft slots here. You guys HAVE to chuckle everytime you get the results of the random picks and see my name down in the 10-14 range...LMAO

Math says that probablity resets itself EVERY time. Is it probable that I can be in the NFFC for 20 years and NEVER get a top 3 pick?

The 3 RR helps things a little this year, but I still will bitch and moan a little everytime I get a double digit draft slot.

Okay, now back to business. Now I have to kick all your butts from the 10 slot? I may even take Neil Rackers in round 1 just to even the playing field. :D

I'm happy with the 5 hole. We'll see how it plays out!
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.
