Do you have any 12 team drafts? Yes, the 12-Team Draft Results are listed in a separate thread on the boards here. I'll update those results shortly on that thread: http://nffcboards.stats.com/cgi-bin/ult ... =1;t=00651

We have all kinds of 12-Team offerings here and of course in Las Vegas Sept. 9-10. Welcome aboard if you're looking for any of that.

As is most always the case on these threads here, the NFFC folks remain silent as they play their cards close to the vest ...based on what I'm seeing here, I will say this though (imho naturally);

1) PLUCK your elite QB early...

2) PLUCK your elite TE early...

3) PLUCK a stud RB, if you can, early...

4) plenty of depth at the WR/RB positions from Round 3 on (and not qite the dropoff after the "top 10" WR's as most think), so wait on PLUCKing those positions (particularly WR) until the latter rounds AFTER you secure BOTH - that's right as I'm going against the grain here this year - BOTH - the QB AND TE positions...

5) one of the integral winning draft strategies this season especially, will be those owners who are able to identify and procure a WR1 at WR2 ADP, WR2 at WR3 ADP and WR3 at WR4 ADP...it can, and will, be done by those soon to be sucessful owners who employ the aforementoned strategy...for those that don't believe here, PLUCK it!...

for what it's worth, that's simply my opinion here... Welcome back Snake, I mean Glenn. These are solid posts and you're one of the most talented fantasy football players around. I enjoy reading it all.

Standout WR talent drops off significantly starting in the middle of the third round or so. I think there are roughly 10 No. 1 WRs this season. After that it's more decent or solid No. 2 guys so I think there's a lot of value in getting one of those Top 10 WRs if you can. Plenty of upside WR3s, though, with great value.

I picked Rice at # 2, over Peterson, in Friday's draft. I hope I'm right, but in this business you CAN'T be afraid to take chances.

Early Season NFFC Draft Results

Interesting how Manning dropped from the 2nd round to the 4th, but Wayne moved up from the 3rd to the 2nd compared to the draft results posted earlier today.

Greg...when were these drafts held relative to the recent twitter buzz about Manning possibly missing some real games? Was one before the news and the other after?
