I hope Gabbert got a good education because he won't be a starting QB for much longer.

With an abbreviated camp and the Jags front office being cheap and cutting Garrard to avoid paying him a roster bonus, Gabbert was essentially thrown to the wolves after McCown was equally as horrible.

Their only real offensive weapon is MJD and their receiving corp doesn't scare anyone. Mike Thomas is a nice WR but not a number one. And I think everyone knew that Marcedes Lewis's year last year was a fluke.

He has been terrible and really struggled with accuracy, only completing something like 44% of his throws. Let's face it though, the Jags weren't real serious about winning this year after they cut Garrard right before the first game. Maybe they can use another high draft pick to get the kid some help.
