Washington D
Denver D This was from the #8 hole, correct? I can't believe Dunn slipped to 3.08 in a DC as RB's USUALLY go fast and furious, and Dunn is a great value there!

Not a big James fan this year, but can't argue with the pick.

Was Bennett your 7th rounder?? (I'm guessing that Cooley and Evans were 5th-6th?) If so, that is a nice pick there with upside.

I think Manning loses some of his value in a DC as he is going against 2 (and sometimes 3) QB's each week, but tough to argue and you did keep him away from the top 3 picks.

Nice job Diesel!! :D

Nice job Diesel!! :D [/QB]Thanks for the ciritque, Billy...I'm not in the $650 DraftChampions this year, so I will give my opinion on why I thought Manning was a great pickup in the 2nd round...Later in the draft, I didn't feel the need to continue drafting QB's, looking for that "diamond in the rough"...I alreay had him, and Plummer as his backup...Instead of sifting through backup QB's to draft, I picked up some quality sleeper/backup RB's and WR's...

If Lelie and Porter get traded to teams where they are happy, then those gambles will pay off...

Marc [/QB][/QUOTE]I totally see your point Diesel, and can't fault you for that pick as it is about as a sure thing as it gets. With Manning, you certainly don't have to worry about much else. Personally, I may have even picked up Alex Smith for the bye week or no QB at all. ;)

Marc, I too picked Manning in a DC and really didn't worry about the QB position after that (I drafted only J. McCown)

Believe it or not, I took a handfull of QB's one might draft if they took Manning, used last years stats and compared them week by week.

Of course some weeks one of the others beat Manning, but he eventually, at seasons end, ended up outscoring them. Of course this doesn't work if you had another QB like Palmer, but I am sure you get the drift. Pick Manning, pray for a non-injury, and stack all of your other positions as other owners are drafting 5 and 6 Qb's. I know some people think it's a plan that will backfire, but we both will find out soon enough!

Your LB rankings will be sent as soon as I get done making dinner for the fam.

The draftchampions is such a different type of draft..I would never take Manning or any QB in the first 2 rounds in the NFFC main event...But in this event, it works...

I was actually going to take P.Manning FIRST round at the 8 spot, if James was taken...In hindsight, I see that was CRAZY, because P. Manning fell all the way back to me. But I wanted Manning. I also don't care for James too much with Arizona's bad front line, but I thought it was worth the shot to take him in the 8 spot...It's such a roll of the dice with all of the RB's after the first 4 that James seemed to be the safest bet because he's produced before, and produced WELL, before.

We'll see how this league plays out, but I felt good about this one...I feel for all the guys who drafted Blaylock and Houston and Martin...Today, the Jets got Lee Suggs, and that doesn't help any RB's fantasy position in NY...Can you say RBBC?
