If you think L.T. has anything left in the tank, you must believe in the Easter Bunny also

Renman,
You're having it both ways.
You say you know that LT's best days are gone, you know he has a poor offensive lineman, and you think he will be one of the five best backs from week six on. You're adding two and two and insisting that five will be the right answer.

Doughboys,
He has been the best RB in the NFL and for fantasy for 6 or 7 years. The "magically" would be how he could suddenly be a "bum" as many define him as. The problems he has gone through that have hurt his productivity this year are things that would/could hurt any RB on any team, at any talent level of any age.
I think even with a below average offensive line he will be productive... just as long as no 280LB beast rolls up on his ankle again. All of a sudden losing your superpowers is not new to the NFL.
Terrell Davis was just absolutely wonderful and suddenly, he wasn't.
John Brockington made tacklers look like wussies and suddenly the wussies looked like monsters.
Tomlinson's best years are gone, we all turn the page.
Doughboys,
You can include Shawn Alexander to that list too. I absolutely agree that players (especially RB's) can "all of a sudden" drop significantly to a point of low production. I absolutely agree LT's best years are behind him.
My point is that I beleive he still has enough left in the tank to put together another big year. I don't believe those who are judging his first month as a sign they were somehow "right" that he is finished or not worth his draft position, are being fair when basing it on an injury that could have happened to any RB in the league at any age.
As I have said before.. If LT was coming up with repeated pulled muscles and wear and tear type injuries than I would agree with those saying he is done. But that hasn't been the case and wasn't the case last year when even with an injury riddled season he was a top 6 or 7 RB in fantasy.
I am interested to see how he does from week 6 through the remainder of the season. Maybe I will be proven wrong. I believe he is going to be good.
The LT demise isn't because he had a bad month. The writing was on the wall. His last two seasons saw him finish hurt. Last year the team became Philip Rivers' team. They are pass first and Sproles seems to fit that role better.
And let's not forget the Chargers were ready to release LT if he had not agreed to restructure his contract this year. Last night he looked bad. The line is a mess. He's toast.

John I assume NFFC scoring?
If so, I will take the Under and wager any amount that you feel comfortable with losing.

I an not "insisting" anything. I am giving my opinion about a player. I see all these fantasy football geniuses (not saying you) babbling about how dead LT is based on a season last year where he got nicked up in ways ANY RB OF ANY AGE could get nicked up and even with that he finished in the top 7 in RB scoring.
I now see people again touting their fantasy football brilliance pounding their chest about how "right" they were about LT being finished based on a downlineman rolling up on his ankle in a way that ANY RB OF ANY AGE could have had happen.
It is my OPINION that the guy has enough left skill-wise to produce at a high level for another year. I stand by my opinion that from week 6 on he will be a top 5 scoring RB even with his beat up offensive line. We can re-visit this after the season and see how right or wrong we are. I am not insisting anything. I am not saying YOU are wrong for thinking he is done. The only think I laugh at is how some tout themselves as "getting it right" regarding LT when they are basing it on an injury that has zero to do with age and breaking down. Just like last years injuries. Is Felix Jones finished and breaking down due to his injuries? Is A. Peterson broken down and finished due to his numerous injuries in the past?
Injuries happen.. it is part of the game. I believe LT's last 20 games of average production (for him) are more related to unpredictable NFL related injuries than they are his age or him breaking down.
Time will tell who is right.

John 148.5 is nearly 15 points per game over the last 10... I believe there are only 6 RB's in the NFL who are averaging over 15 points who have played every game.
Taking the under isn't a big stretch. I think 148 is a good number. I would sign for it and not be surprised if he went higher.
