My loving wife sits right beside me. Whether it be at the Colts games(we're season tix holders) or on the couch!

God love her!

How about sending her to the Spa on Sunday. Or EVERY SUNDAY!

I don't have that problem Snake. When my wife turns 18, in 4 years, maybe she'll start complaining, but for now she's fine with my fantasy addiction...LMAO

Okay seriously...What I do is encourage my wife to do some things that are more expensive than she'd rather do. I don't know how much women's haircuts and color costs around America, but in NY, if a woman gets a haircut, color, blowdry and manicure/pedicure it can cost up to $250! As insane as I think that cost is, I still encourage my wife to do this at least 2 times a year. When she asks why, I say, "Well, you're so good with me and my fantasy football addiction, it's only fair that you get to do some things for yourself that are above and beyond". This works rather well...lol

Another way to have her understand about time spent on football is to think ahead...If you KNOW that you are going to watch every game on a certain week and not want to be bothered, so you can watch every play of every game...What you do is this...You do something around the house that your wife will really appreciate but something that she hadn't asked for...Like paint a room she's been talking about, or as much as I HATE this, maybe take your wife clothes shopping during the week. You'll go nuts, but when she asks why you're doing this, you say, "I want to spend some quality time with you today because on Sunday, I fully intend on becoming a fixture on the couch and not moving until the last tick on the NFL clocks have been struck."

Those are just a few tricks, I mean great reasons to use to help with the wife.

P.S....thanks in advance for not making or putting forth any predictable and inane machmiso-induced statements/ideas about who wears the panties in the family, etc...thanks much...SNAKE Just tell her you are in the Chum-Chum Club :D

She will understand :D

On the rare occasion that she breaks the chain from the stove, I simply give my wife a stern look, and say 'get back in the kitchen and make me a turkey pot pie' (smile face)

The question is Snake, does your wife not have anything else to do, OR does she just not want you to watch football?

If it is the 1st, it is an easy fix as having her go shopping, etc. (things everyone else mentioned)

If it is the 2nd, finding a divorce lawyer might be a good start. (seriously, I have no clue with that situation)

Snake - tell her you are going to win big this year
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?
