It does not surprise me ONE BIT that you would agree with Sound Advice's perception, as you also feel you are always "cheated", " get screwed", it "isn't fair", "injuries killed me", excuses, excuses, excuses, etc.

That all being said, please "practice what you preach", and don't come in trying to start "chit".

KJ - a 250 league should be worth more than a 100 league. Please don't fall into the "less is more" trap. Winning a 250 league should be worth more 3rd in a 500 league don't you think?
The way you have it 3rd in a 100 league is worth the same as 2nd in a 250 league. Sound, I wasn't aware the payout % changed, Greg has been generally consistent with pay % since the beginning.

Secondly, if you don't like "dumb" lists don't look at them. Now, having called this a "dumb list", I find it strange that you care enough about it to request that I change it to give more weight to the particular lges that you play in.

In any case, the pts are not 1:1 with entry fees or winnings, they are (as judged by me) relative level of competition. I don't see much difference in the player level between $100, $200, or $250 lges so the LCS points for winning them is all the same.

Payout percentage:

$100 satellite lge
$1100 / 14*100 = 79%

$100 free entry satellite
$1300/ 14*100 = 93% (but actually 70% cost to NFFC) - 93%*75% = 70% since they are paying out with a free entry that itself pays out 75%, rather than cash)

$250 satellite lge
2800 / 14*250 = 80%

$500 satellite lge
5600 / 14*500 = 80%

Sound, the $100 lges still pay slightly less in reality. Also, I wonder why you would call an 80% payout on satellites getting "butchered" ??

79-80% is a very fair payout percentage. Nothing to complain about imo.

Nice work KJ Duke. Seems you are giving it a good effort and this kind of thing can be fun if everyone just enjoys it and remembers it is just a list made with limited sample size..it isn't going to rank everyone where they'd like or think they belong.

I chuckle when I see some of my peers and their points. Some of them are only there because they lucked into a premium draft slot.

Duke - isn't there a way to discount points earned by people who lucked into LT2?

thx Tamu, so another 2.14% payout in the $250 would equal another $25 per winning team ... WHEN WILL THE SENSELESS BUTCHERING END !!

Duke - isn't there a way to discount points earned by people who lucked into LT2? not really GG, unless Greg has warehoused a lot of data somewhere --- if he has, I could analyze it a million ways once I get it into a spreadsheet. 3RR, auctions and BBDS across most NFFC lges should eliiminate much of the slot luck going forward

3RR is a significant NFFC plus when choosing between draft leagues. Draft slot advantage being reduced should be a priority of High Stakes Leagues. Glad to see NFFC recognizing it and taking the lead on a step to reduce it.
