The latest buzz: Despite the reinstatement, Favre will not be playing football for the Packers this year.

Absolute nonsense.

Favre has pretty much said that Rodgers is the QB of the Packers. Favre will not compete for the starting job and split the team in half, because that's what happens when QB's compete.

This doesn't change anything.

The Packers still have to either trade Favre, release Favre...Or throw a bombshell out there and trade Rodgers. WOW, would that create news for the media to go crazy over.
