Vincent Jackson Was just thinking the same thing! One monster game and then not even WR3 production. Maybe this will wake his a$$ up!

I was just thinking today how my season is going south because I spent high draft picks on Miles Austin and Vincent Jackson.

The constant between these two WR disappearing acts is that their QB's have been busts and are getting worse. Something is wrong this year with both Romo and Rivers, and it's killing their WR's.

The Chargers have no speed to their offense. V-Jax, Floyd and Gates are good players who are big, but don't seem to have the speed to separate like they used to. I think they are missing that element in their offense and that in turn is making Rivers hold onto the football or trying to fit it into tight windows.

I will take a page out of the Al Davis handbook. Speed kills. It doesn't always translate to success, but a good example is "young money" in Pittsburgh. ;)

[/QUOTE]Surely you see how bad Rivers looks just in terms of mechanics and accuracy. His throws come out wobbly, off the mark, and like knuckle balls. This has nothing to do with his receivers gaining separation or his pass protection. He's had great success in the past with far less talent at receiver.

Something is simply wrong with him this year.

Roger Goodell says HGH testing will be more extensive sometime this season. Giving a fair warning to anyone to was doing HGH, to stop the Roids and be clean by the time the new testing system in started. Hmmmm. Some really high profile players, out of nowhere, seem to not be the player he was last year. Hmmm.

And my bust of the year for a player I was high on has to go to Joe Flacco.

That is one of the smartest comments I have ever seen on these boards. Thanks Toxic...I come up with one or two deep thoughts a year. 2011 is almost over, so I'm glad I've got one good thought accounted for this year. I thought I might be slipping. ;)
