I Have The 8th Pick In The FantasyGuru.com Magazine League
Round 3
25. Bowe
26. Ronnie Brown (just not a big fan of this guy so I'm always happy to see him picked)
27. Marshall
28. Bush (Hansen cleaning up now after the surprising LT pick)
29. Owens
30. Brees (was wondering if he was going to fall to me - surprised he dropped this far)
31. Pierre Thomas
32. Welker (My Pick - love the 100+ receptions as my WR2)
33. Houshmandzadeh
34. Bryant
35. Roy Williams
36. Addai (another guy I'm glad to see someone pick and push players to me that I like)
Probably going RB in the fourth round since the WRs I really like are gone. Ryan Grant is my top target.

Ryan Grant is an enormously conservative and boring pick. What does he offer more than another RB in 5 or 6 would not?
A stud TE like Witten there in a ppr league is the pick, imo.

Round 4
37. Moreno
38. Derrick Ward
39. Brady
40. Kevin Smith (I really like him this season)
41. Grant (My Pick - fine RB2 with RB1 upside)
42. Lynch
43. Vincent Jackson
44. Witten
45. Edwards
46. McFadden
47. Gates
48. Chad Johnson
MY TEAM SO FAR
RB-Westbrook
RB-Grant
WR-Wayne
WR-Welker
Looking good so far. I'll be looking at a WR in the fifth, maybe a QB.

Like I said, you getting Bush all depended on where Hansen was in the 3rd compared to you.
Pretty good start Tom. Westy is Westy and in a 12 teamer, easier to stomach. Wayne is still a stud and will probably be undervalued in a lot of drafts and Welker continues to be undervalued as well.
Curious, would you have selected Wayne over Moss? I'm guessing not.
Who selected Addai?

This is one of the differences between you and me. You seek "protection", even in round 4, while I look for explosive scoring. I'm not criticizing - it is just two different styles.
Is Grant really "rock solid"? He looked very ordinary to me last year.

I screwed up the order but everything's right now.
And I like Ryan Grant, Jack, what can I say?

Hansen - LT, Steve Smith, Bush, Edwards & Rodgers. Those are 5 picks loaded with potentially explosive scoring.

I took Donnie Avery in the sixth round. Debated about McNabb and Romo but with the elite QBs gone I think I'll hold off and try to get one of them or Cutler in the seventh. Besides, Jack told me to go after potentially explosive scoring and Avery offers plenty of that.
Here's my roster so far:
RB-Westbrook
RB-Grant
WR-Wayne
WR-Welker
WR-Holmes
WR-Avery
I'm looking QB and TE in the next two rounds. Greg Olsen is the TE I'm targeting.
