I thought he reached for LT but obviously it could work out. He's big on Braylon this year and I'm not for the reasons I've mentioned. Potentially, though, he could be loaded if those two in particular return to past form.

McNabb and Romo gone. Cutler and Ryan still left. Is the seventh round too early for Ryan? Hmmm ...

Greg Olsen gone. Bummer.
Winslow still on the board, though.

Strike that, Winslow's gone. Looks like I'm holding off on TEs for awhile.

Took Cutler in the 7th. Targeting Felix Jones in the 8th. Here's my roster now:

It is absolutely not a reach for LT when he backed him up with Sproles in round 7. That RB spot is $$.

REALLY wanted Felix Jones as my RB3 but he was taken at 7-11. Damn.

Is Grant really "rock solid"? He looked very ordinary to me last year. Last year Grant held out of TC over contractual issues, came in and immediately pulled a hamstring that bothered him for a number of weeks. When relatively healthy, over the last part of the season he averaged around 14 ppg.
I don't know how much missing all that practice time impacted his use in GB's passing game last year; but if he's used more this year he could easily be a top 10-12 RB imo.
Personally, I don't see this as a "safe" conservative pick, but rather a pick to win.
Hard to believe some of the players chosen before Witten.

Went with Cooley in the eighth. Not exactly fired up about that pick. Still bummed I didn't get Felix. Here's my roster through 8:
QB-Cutler
RB-Westbrook
RB-Grant
WR-Wayne
WR-Welker
WR-Holmes
WR-Avery
TE-Cooley
I'm loaded at WR and set at QB and TE. I need to start getting some RB depth now. I'll likely target RBs with my next two picks unless a WR I really like falls.

WR-Avery Really liked your team up to the Avery pick. Not a fan of that whole situation in St. Louis. Really want none of that mess other than maybe S Jax. I know he's your #4 WR, but you still need a #3 RB and a TE. Hard to say without knowing what else was available.
