We can entertain ideas for only so long, so blast out your thoughts and we'll finalize ASAP.

Anyone up for 1 RB, 1 'regular' flex and 1 'super flex' (any position from QB to Kicker) ?

Toss 'em around, voice your votes... we'll build that concensus and make decisions by later tonight. We may then hold the doors open for a day until full if need be or form 2 leagues if there is enough interest.

Anyone have a friend that wants to play? I could invite the Leaderboard horde if you all want some more whipping boys, we might get 5-10 willing to play. Or would you rather it be 'message board regulars' ?

Fire it out there, we can fill up 3 or 4 more pages on this topic ;)

My vote for Plan A was a soft vote. I can be swayed........OK.....Plan B it is for me!

It certainly takes the pressure off for getting a #2 RB early. I like it.

dyv,
can you post some final roster options and let us vote. little chaotic right now.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

I like the deeper roster, but getting there with flex. I don't believe that a QB should be included in the flex, but I don't know why

Bottom line, I'd like to try Option B which is

1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WR, 2 RB/WR/TE, D, TE, K

This is simply taking the existing NFFC roster and making one RB spot a RB/WR/TE instead.

Gordon (and everyone), let's keep the thoughts and ideas flowing for a couple more hours - later tonight I hope to finalize the 14 or 28 and then we'll get a FINAL ballot on options and variants.

Also, I have 3 Leaderboarders not currently involved in the NFFC who are interested in playing. Anyone object to bringing in others (including your friends or family or relatives for all that matters) or any strong feelings of restricting it to Message Board regulars?

Thanks - I don't care either way. I'll form up 'final' plans between 11-11:30 pm ET tonight.

Bringing in a couple of outsiders isn't such a bad idea. There was some discussion on the other thread about this being too confusing for new members next year. (I didn't agree with that assessment)
Wouldn't this be a perfect time to test it out?

I'm fine having outsiders in if we need them. How many people do we have committed? I really like the idea of 1 regular flex and 1 super flex.
