Adrian Peterson or Calvin Johnson?

Johnson or Peterson? Calvin Johnson is an interesting pick in a ppr Draftmasters league. He will have his rookie struggles probably, but is likely to have at least several games in which he will put up BIG points.

You are weak at WR in that league. Go with Calvin.

I guess then I will have to "settle" with Peterson with the 2nd pick. :D
I'm not weak at WR...T.O and Furrey equal 150 receptions, at the very least. Furrey is the real deal. He's real enough that Calvin Johnson won't be on the Lions next year. But Johnson WILL be on Team MoJo...LOL. Or maybe Peterson... :D

The team that picked 14th in the first draft picks first in the next draft and so on. Wow, count me in the crowd that hadn't heard this.

It would be a shame if the order of the available rookies was handed out in advance. I thought the draft would exclude rookies.

I mean, won't this mean that the teams who picks first in draft 2 will get the only GOOD rookies (value round 3-4) while the rest of us are off drafting picks with a value of round 13?

I guess this draft is just for fun, but I could see this being a major contributing factor if AP and Lynch turn out to be Caddys' and Ronnies, which has a high possibility.
There were a few factors to why I chose #14 in this draft. One was to see first hand how 3RR was from the end of the draft. Another was the fact that I get the first pick in the supplemental draft. We weren't allowed to draft rookies in draft 1, but that's why we're having the 2nd draft.

Here's my team for Rob Bennetti's league:

QB Donovan McNabb 0 PHI R4 P14
QB Ben Roethlisberger 0 PIT R8 P14
QB Tarvaris Jackson 0 MIN R14 P14
RB Chester Taylor 0 MIN R1 P14
RB Maurice Drew 0 JAX R2 P1
RB Ricky Williams 0 MIA R9 P1
RB Musa Smith 0 BAL R11 P1
RB Chris Perry 0 CIN R12 P14
WR Terrell Owens 0 DAL R3 P1
WR Mike Furrey 0 DET R5 P1
WR Roscoe Parrish 0 BUF R13 P1
TE Alge Crumpler 0 ATL R6 P14
TE Desmond Clark 0 CHI R10 P14
DEF Baltimore Ravens 0 BAL R7 P1

For what I lacked in WR's, I made up in TE's...

Now that everyone's had a better look, who do I take ? Calvin or Adrian?

[/QB]I will take Calvin because you're right, I do need depth at WR, but I'm telling you right now that no matter where Furrey plays, he's getting 65-75 catches next year.

There were still PLENTY of non-rookie WR's left for the supplemental draft too. But none that I can think of that will have the hype of Calvin Johnson.

Just a reminder to all in Rob's draft, it is a DC. There's many teams without a K or TE or a D....I would hate to be one of the teams without a 2nd or 3rd at each position. ;) BTW, if anyone has read anything about my thoughts regarding a few of the incoming rookies, I think you already know my answer to Marc's question. If Calvin goes to the Bucs, I will have an an aneurism!

Forgot to add, for Johnny....don't you think the Lions have drafted enough WR's in the 1st round?
