I know word of mouth and the mags are great, but it would be nice if there was something I could use to promote the draft in Tampa for next season. We do have some flyers that we put together every year. Get in touch with me or Greg next summer and we can get some to you if you want to use them to get the word out for us.

Thats a good idea... something simple and easily distributed that can funnel people to the website. I will be signing up for a batch of them in July.

You send out brochures to key folks in each city.

These brochures would bear the stamp or in some of your cases, their mark - of the individual passing them out.

When they come back with a new registered player, that individual would be rewarded.

The one who has the most return with new participants would recv another bonus.

Who better to sell the game to the masses?

I will hand then out at Cub games. Cubs fans are the perfect FF players as they are used to ending their seasons in pain and with dissappointment. ;)

You could create a virtual library for these forms whereby folks who are given access could go in and print out their own as needed? Each would be assigned a code for their forms and access. NO big deal to do. NO waste as the folks distributing them would be doing so at their own cost with the hopes of making it back.

Greg, any thought to changing the playoff system for the Auction league to that of the satellite leagues or the Main event system? It is the only league with a H2H playoff system.

As I stated on another post, I have not posted the new auction league rules, but at this point I have no intention of going to total points over the last three leagues like our other events. I have thought about that hard for the auction leagues and the Ultimate Leagues, but I received a lot of feedback from guys who said they liked the h2h format at the end of the season. I'm willing to listen to more feedback either way, but the rules for 2007 currently are similar to 2006 and the post-season hasn't changed much.

If anything, there were good suggestions to change the seeding slightly, giving the No. 1 seed to the top total points team, rather than the h2h champ.

Wow, this sure was an active thread back at the end of last season. I'll bring it to the front just to give everyone a good read on our proposed rules changes. We did go through with all of them, so be prepared for a great 2007 season. Enjoy the thread if you have some time to kill!! :D
