Hey Mike,

Since you put on the draft you have to go through and critique each team. Let's see it!

You're welcome guys. And as long as the NFL plays next year, I do hope to make this an annual event - even if we come in dead last. ;)

Frank, you referring to the starting position player projected rankings I did for the BillyWaz DC last year?

Haha Wayne. I don't want to hurt any feelings, but as usual in 14-team leagues, everyone has some holes. Of course, this is our first year doing DCs too, so I certainly can't claim any expertise.

If people are interested, I'll throw together the projected rankings (which uses Rotoworld's projections, which may be no better than anyone else's, but at least they're neutral - not mine)???

Throw them out there, I am a glutton for punishment and it will be interesting to see how true the rankings ring by year end...

Ok, here they are. If anyone wants the breakdown of each team's top 8 position players that were used for this, PM me and I'll send you the link.

Roto Us Team
1 1925 1859 Jack Stevenson
2 1887 1855 Silver and Black
3 1860 1833 Team Sandman
4 1856 1789 Sad But True-BWAZZ
5 1827 1781 Team palmieri
6 1816 1773 CC's Desperado's
7 1814 1789 KentuckyThunder
8 1810 1775 Team Pope
9 1792 1726 Out of the Shadows
10 1778 1764 Ultra Max
11 1772 1806 Coltsfan
12 1745 1660 Team Gillis
13 1687 1686 Team Conte
14 1596 1567 THE_BLACKHAND

Of course, this is a DC and the above projections don't account for how important it might be to have a quality QB2/TE2/DST2/K so that if your main guy at that position has a bad week, your team doesn't suffer. Or having solid depth at WR/RB that can cover for things like when last year, Reggie Wayne stumbled to the finish line the last 6 or 7 games. So I certainly make no claims to the accuracy of which teams will end up where; these are all about each team's best 8 position players.

At least it gives us something else to obsess over til the main events and the season arrive! :D

Enjoy,
Mike
