Greg,
Any ETA on when the site will be live and sign ups can begin formally?
Scott DEFINITELY TODAY!!! It's all done and we will start the signup thread TODAY!! The site looks great. Thanks for your patience all, but it's ready to go.
Oh, and just as an add on, we will have Special Package deals for signups before July 1st, but we aren't taking any payments until Aug. 1st. We want your commitment, not your money!! We will only run payments on any early Slow Drafts, NFFC '60s or Satellite Leagues that run before Aug. 1st. But everything else you can sign up now, secure your spots in those leagues and not worry about payment until Aug. 1st.
Now, LET THE SEASON BEGIN!!! [/QUOTE]SWEET!!!!!!
My track meet was cancelled due to rain, so I can go home after school, get ready for the draft, pull up the signup page and begin to spend my money!!!

Some of us have to reallocate our resources with the WCOFF issues thus I fully believe the NFFC and FFPC stand to see nice increases. Where as the WCOFF appears to think not many actually view the MB so how bad can it hurt, I think they are sorely underestimating the effect.
Many like myself will still invest what we usually do but now it's spread across two entities instead of three...very interested to see how everything plays out numbers wise for the three industry main events.

Never do card tricks for the people you play poker with.

Put it into a numbers perspective, if just 100 gamers reallocate 3000 from WCOFF to the other events, that's 300k of new inflows to the NFFC/FFPC and 300k less for the WCOFF to pay their folks like me.
My guess is I may be conservative on both the 100/3000 but wanted to make it appear realistic.

It's raining here again today Billy, too. What a MESS of a so-called spring. I know it's sunny in Florida because I just witnessed the beauty of blue skies and sunshine, but is the weather nice anywhere else? Man, what a rough winter/spring for a lot of people in this country.

I don't know what is going to happen this year Scott, but again I firmly believe that all four contests won't reach their goals in the live events. I don't think it's possible to have all of us allocate prizes based on 2,500+ teams at $1400+ when there were only 1,500 teams last year. Someone is going to miss badly.
This is no different than a couple of years ago when you saw WCOFF, NFFC, FFPC, FFOC and RapidDraft all fighting for similar customers with large guaranteed prizes. You knew something had to give and FFOC was out of business in two years and now I'm hearing that RapidDraft hasn't paid their winners as well. I think their grand prize was $100,000 and nobody is talking about that default. It's INSANE what is happening to our pay games industry. Just INSANE and eventually it's going to cost all of us a free market.
So now here we are with three known games, one of which still has to pay their winners from last year. Again, the CONSUMER IS KING this year. They will tell us what they are willing to put up with and what they want from their game operators. All we can do is offer the contests, provide the best customer service, pick out the best draft venues and put on the best draft weekend experience you've ever had. And then we have to totally reassure you that you will DEFINITELY GET PAID and DEFINITELY GET PAID ON TIME EVERY TIME. I know for a FACT that we can guarantee that here at STATS LLC.
We'll see what the consumer decides to do in 2011. I'm convinced that they will still want to partake in the live events atmosphere and compete for big prizes. I'm not sure the big carrot is the ultimate goal anymore. I think assurance of prize payouts is No. 1. Customer satisfaction is No. 1A. Great camaraderie and a fair contest is No. 1B. Fair payouts and good league prizes are No. 1C. We're going to do all we can to give you what you've asked for in the past and not worry about what the other game operators do. We have enough to worry about here and making sure we get our own contests right. And I promise you, we will this year.

As an athletic director, this spring has been rough trying to reschedule games, get buses, etc.
We had some tornadoes touch down around the area last night, and a few people were killed in western Virginia.
I too was in Florida last week. Was only in Orlando for a day. Spent 2 days in Tampa, and the rest of the vacation in "The Villages".
Not sure if you ever heard of it, but it is like DisneyWorld for SENIOR CITIZENS!!!
It is awesome!
