That's pretty impressive. Need to find those sleepers!
[/QUOTE]It's called the Quadfecta, Scott!!! :D Need to find those sleepers....and the entry fee money for all of this!! :D But seriously, we'd be glad to have you on board for both of our events and if you win those other ones, then we'll all make you a STAR!!!

Greg and Tom,

Congrats! This comes on the heels of several very long years of hard work. This merger is the beginning of the "next" phase of fantasy sports. You are poised to lead the community into this very bright future.

That slate of events has something for everyone and too much to pass up. It is the ultimate draft weekend. One stop shopping.

Even Mark Moyer and Jules will feel the effect of drafting those six events in three days. ;)

Congrats and Good Luck to Greg, Tom and their new partners.

Looking forward to an awesome Fantasy Football filled weekend!!! Thanks Jules. I have a feeling the hard work lies ahead of us, but I feel good knowing that we'll have more online exposure in one day now than we've had in the last five years combined!!! :D If we can showcase these events to the masses, I'm confident that Tom and I can do the rest. Let's hope the market continues to grow as we are going to have a full plate this summer.

Congrats and Good Luck to Greg, Tom and their new partners. Thanks Champ. You are correct, we are trying to offer something for everyone. We don't expect everyone to take one of each, but if you like the 12-team format and wouldn't play in the NFFC before this, now you have a choice. If you still love the 14-team format and wouldn't change, now you have a choice. If you like auction leagues, now you have choices. It's up to us to spread the word through our magazine pages and online ventures to fill all of this up.

Tell Brian to give us a call. It's time to make Chicago THE happening place for all of this.

Greg, I'm in. You had me at hello...

I sent you an email asking to put me down for the 12 teamer...Even though I've been asking you for a MONTH to sign me up already! lol FINALLY!

I see a dozen people signed in on this site and THIRTY SEVEN guests, so I'm guessing people are looking in.

Somebody asked me on the NFBC Message Boards how this can be good for the participants. I'll paraphrase from there and add here:

1. NBC Sports will be the flagship brand of the NFFC with the Peacock logo in it. I believe this will give even more credibility to what we're doing in this area of the market.

2. NBC Sports and Rotoworld.com will promote the living hell out of our football event this year, allowing us to grow at a bigger pace than we could before. The NFFC will receive more promotional exposure than we EVER could do on our own.

3. NBC Sports will allow us to bring in title sponsorship, an area I've been unable to attain on my own. The combination of exposure on Rotoworld.com and NBC Sports and our game sites will be critical to securing a title sponsor and it will happen now.

4. We will expand our offerings this season to include NBC Sports satellite leagues and possibly an online championship. As you know, I talked about doing this in 2007, but I didn't have the online promotional exposure to pull this off. Now I can do it. These will be 12-team leagues with an overall grand prize format, and they will definitely be branded with the NBC Sports logo. So expanding online beyond our satellite leagues is a key part of this for us.

5. I think we'll have more goodies, more exposure (local NBC TV affiliates at each draft), and more sponsors at the live events. I believe our live events will step up a notch with this partnership.

6. Tom and I will be columnists on Rotoworld.com and I can see making our top players guest writers on there as well. I have ideas on how to do this and you'll see it come to fruition soon.

7. TV???? Well, it has to happen sometime. This is a good partner to one day have it happen with.

I could go on and on, but you have to think outside the box to see how this can be good for everyone. This isn't just good for us, it's good for the WCOFF and all veteran companies in this industry. It's taking this area of the market to a new level and having everyone understand it's good to be at this pay level. I hope I'm right. We'll see, I guess.

Congrats Greg and Tom... Not a surprising turn of events and a sign of how a top notch run event can grow. This is good on a number of levels for the NFFC and everyone involved with it.

exciting times...

exciting times... Thanks James. I hope everyone realizes that this partnership is in place with Tom and I doing the same thing as always, only twice as much with more staffing promised. NBC Sports and Rotoworld.com will be as helpful as they can in securing sponsors and promoting the hell out of this, but the back-end, customer service and everything involved with the drafts and game is on our shoulders. We have contracted with STATS for this as well and will work closely with them on the new NBC Sports game site.

So while things are changing, they are staying the same. We can handle the increased leagues with some more help and Rotoworld.com will have staff to help at the live drafts. Heck, if anyone wants to draft in one event and facilitate and get paid in the other event, we're good for that, too. Hopefully we'll have workers galore!!

Time to spread the word. We have some spots to fill.
