so you guys think the NBC events, especially the online ones, will be "softer?" as in the competition won't be as tough?

WOW...decisions, decisions...we all went from having two primary main events (NFFC, WCOFF) roughly two weeks ago to now having four (NFFC, NBC Sports, WCOFF, and the FFPC). Can't forget all the ancillary leagues (Auction, DM, Super, Ultimate) and satellites. The fix is getting more expensive...but ya' gotta love all the options. Yep it sure is expensive, but no decisions for me as I get my 12-team fix and 14-team fix all in one day with the NFFC/NBC. What a great day it is going to be.

Russ, yes the nbc drafts will be 3RR and KDS. We'll update the rules to better reflect that.

Oh, don't get me wrong...I'm up for the doubleheader as well. Not sure what that means for some of the ancillary leagues, but can't miss the main events.

Congrats!!!!!!! This is really something!!!! I'm at a lost for words and am really confused where to throw down my money. But that is a good thing.
Love the two auction's in one weekend, Very nice. I'm not really a 12 team guy but love to auction.
Two quick question's. One, Are there two more bench players in the 12 team leagues???? If so will we get the extra bench in the 14 team leagues????
My other question, I have been trying to get you guys to update my lifetime standings for a while now. Can you please update before you guys get so big you really forget about Me???????????????
Thanks

First let me say "congratulations to Greg and Tom".
Jersey Paul, good points. It appears that this partnership lacks benefit for the player except for additional leagues to participate in and maybe some national exposure. Personally I was never concerned about the security of the funds or the integrity of ownership.
If this partnership would have decreased costs or improved payouts at the same entry fee then the participant has realized some gain. Most of us are home grown backyard fantasy players that have stepped up to the national level because or organizers like Greg, Tom and Lenny at WCOFF, and they are appreciated. My concern is that 2-3 years down the road this contest may not look anything like it did last year (which was exceptional). If it takes on the usual corporate business model and attitude we may be disappointed. How many times have you heard merging companies claim that "nothing will change" (maybe you no longer work there)? How many of you while growing up as a fantasy player played in the ESPN's, Fox's and CBS's all with some disappointment. Do not get me wrong I am happy for Greg and Tom and I am looking forward to next year especially since Brady and Moss had such a great year and will be drafted too early.

I hear you, I'm a little worried myself. Love the family of the NFFC And hope it never changes. I hate the WCOFF way. The only thing that looks good at WCOFF is the BIG Prize.

congrats Greg and Tom, i think a 13 week 12 team league is where the money is ultimately going to be..
now all you have to do is have NBC partner with one of the major casinos in vegas to sponsor this event as the mecca of fantasy football... congrats though..

Thanks Thanks Johnny. Yeah, choices are good for consumers. Now you have a lot of them.
20-man rosters for the 12-team league.
Same 18-man rosters for the NFFC. A bit tougher, which is what we want to retain for the NFFC.
Yeah, shoot me that e-mail again Johnny about the Lifetime Standings and I'll forward that to STATS tomorrow. Sorry about that.
