I also think Snake won Ahman Green and Guys just didn't like the fact that he got a deal. It never froze on my computer.

i can honestly say there are so many events to choose from it's going to be tough to make a decision.. i think i'd probably go with a 650 nffc auction, a 1300 nbc auction and 1300 nbc main event.. if i had to choose then do a few nffc sats.

what about keeping the cheap auctions? the 125 buyins. less of a buyin, less of an issue if there are problems.

I don't see why we couldn't do a chat room auction, which really is better anyway. The chance of a tech snafu for that would be less than an MDC draft.

The success of NBC Sunday night fantasy game played a small part of this getting done IMO.

I had a lot of fun with that game and complimented the rotoworld guys at LABR on it, and they said it did way better than expected and the sponsor was ecstatic.

The timing by Greg and all couldn't have been any better in many ways on this JV!

As far as the chat room option that isn't going to work in all probability. We need to have codes for the players for STATS so that they can enter the rosters quickly. That is something Mock Draft Central and FantasyAuctioneer have built into their systems. The chat room option would prevent that and would create delays in terms of getting the leagues loaded.

The other thing is FantasyAuctioneer isn't set up to help us from the tech side the way Mock Draft Central is. They don't have someone monitoring the auction so if a problem arises there's nothing that can be done. And given how major problems have arisen in every online auction we've run (again not minor ones but major problems) I don't think it's wise to put us in a position where we can't provide responsive help to our customers - regardless of how much they paid to get into the league. That's inexcusable to me and I think Greg feels the same way.

Again, we'll keep talking about this but when Greg and I talk my vote will remain no. It's just been too much of a major problem unfortunately to do these. Greg's the boss and what he says goes but that's my view having done a large number of these for baseball and football the past several years.
