Timmy B. What a blast from the past. Here's a story for you from my main league.

A few years back I was being killed by injuries at RB. I had two guys targeted to pick up one week and I felt I had a real good shot at both of them. As it turned out I was right, I got one guy and nobody bid on the other (this was like in Week 2 before either guy had really done anything). So who did I pick up?

Timmy Biakabatuka.

And who did I decline to pick up?

Anthony Thomas.

Oh, did I mention that was the year the A-Train won the Rookie of the Year award? He had a huge game that week and somebody else was higher in the Waiver order the next week and grabbed him.

Biakabatuka sucked by the way. Big time. :D

OK and back to the present day Carolina RB situation, I don't really know what's going to happen, but I have a hunch. Now it's not anything novel or earth-shattering. It's just a hunch.

That's all.

Ok, you're killing me. That story was cool. And I love to hear about fantasy wins and losses, but you can't dangle a possible starting RB in this room and stop right there...lol

I'm glad you enjoyed the story of my despair. :D Funny thing is I ended up still finishing in the money that year and I had Mike Alstott as my RB1 for the final few weeks. I'm telling you I was being killed by injuries at RB.

As far as Carolina goes, I think Foster opens the season as the starting RB but I don't think he'll start the most games at the position.

I think Shelton's going to be the guy there. Obviously I'm not alone with that thinking but the Panthers clearly want him to be their starting RB at some point and I think he'll get a shot this season and he won't relinquish the job.
