Tom -

What do you think of the likes of Lincoln Kennedy and Sterling Sharpe somewhat defending the actions of TO on NFL Total Access? I wouldnt say they were out right "defending" TO, but it seems like they don't have the balls to speak out about how he carries himself in respect to his team mates and his fans.

Their spin is that TO is a strange bird....etc, and they make it sound like it is OK because of this.

I didn't hear what they said. Can you provide a Cliff Notes' version?

Frankly, I can't see how anyone can defend him. Everything I've read about the situation so far indicates TO was clearly in the wrong and he didn't care for Reid pointing that out to him. The guy's a tool. Pure and simple.

Ahhh, so everything's cool because "he's just being TO?" Bull****. At some point a line has to be drawn for everyone, including Terrell Owens. I stand by my tool comment.

Out of left field.....which do you think will occur first? A woman being president or a woman winning a high stakes fantasy football tourney?

I agree Tom... I don't think any players would take a shot at TO because they know that football is a good paying business and they all the players are on the same side as each other regarding money, etc.

The best video feed was of TO putting on a clinic on his front lawn after he got sent home...

He was doing dumbbell curls and sit ups in front of the reporters after he was told to take a hike by the Eagles...

Not sure if you saw that

Back to TO, the guy is a major talent. But the guy just doesn't get it. Having incredible talent simply isn't enough. There's more to being a professional than that. Sadly, I don't think TO will ever figure it out and as he stumbles along he'll always find someone else to blame his problems on.

I highly doubt it. DirecTV paid a HUGE amount of money for that exclusive NFL package so that all of America had to buy their dish. Not only are they competing against the Dish Network, but cable as well. Think about it, how many more people would buy the NFL Sunday Ticket if it was available on cable TV? But DirecTV paid for this exclusivity and that's where it's going to stay.

That being said, I used to pay $119 for the NFL Ticket during the first year and then $139 and it was worth every penny. This year at $199 I'm probably going to think hard about renewing. I go to most of the Packers games, so I miss several weeks of the package each year. The higher cost ticks me off just enough to consider walking away from it....although I'll probably change my mind! ;)

Well, in all honesty, women have been "the winners" of high stakes fantasy football tourneys as well as the winners of a large amount of home leagues already....thats if you are married ofcourse...

Every year, our wives break our onions because we sit in front of the TV from 11am EST till 1am EST on Sunday. They nag us to mow the lawn, to help them shop for a new couch, to paint the fence, etc. They call us lazy and sometimes even tell us that "our football to us men is more important then they are".

But this situation takes a sharp turn towards the end of the year....if you are in the running to win some "disposable cash" by potentially winning your league, Superbowl, etc.

Then the wives ears perk up like a Doberman who hears a noise....They start to spend our fantasy football booty within their heads.....They cut us some slack on Sunday....they even let you possibly go out on Monday nite with the boys without a big hassle...

New pair of shoes....CHECK
New Couch..... CHECK
Jewelry ..... CHECK

So far a majority of the fantasy owners...the true winner is the woman/ wife...

Basically women have been winning fantasy leagues for the past 15-20 years ;)

We fantasy bawlers spend 4 months contemplating what round we should handcuff Larry Johnson to Priest Holmes if taken in 1st round....Meanwhile, the girls can spend all the cash in one day when we wind up winning....Not fair!
