so what happens when u lose? Does that mean you and the dog fight over the leftovers....?

on the other topic, how many women actually even play in high stakes tourneys? Maybe one at the most in each....? i think the odds may be on the White House bathroom being remodeled in a fuscia undertone b4 we see a woman holding up a FF trophy talking about how her ADP theory won her the crown...

We've had a few playing in our events already and hopefully the number will continue to grow. And don't forget Claire and Jan Gustafson won our mid-league challenge last season. They kicked the guys' butts in that league.

I highly doubt it. DirecTV paid a HUGE amount of money for that exclusive NFL package so that all of America had to buy their dish. Not only are they competing against the Dish Network, but cable as well. Think about it, how many more people would buy the NFL Sunday Ticket if it was available on cable TV? But DirecTV paid for this exclusivity and that's where it's going to stay.

That being said, I used to pay $119 for the NFL Ticket during the first year and then $139 and it was worth every penny. This year at $199 I'm probably going to think hard about renewing. I go to most of the Packers games, so I miss several weeks of the package each year. The higher cost ticks me off just enough to consider walking away from it....although I'll probably change my mind! ;)
[/QUOTE]My first year of NFL ticket, I got it for $60 (1/2 price for signing up for Direct TV), then $139, and now at $200 I am stopping it. As long as everyone keeps buying it, they will continue to up the ante. I'll watch the Giants and Jets, and Sunday night game along with the MNF...And of course follow every ticker from now on. Season tickets are $100 a piece per game...8 games per season...$800...If the NFL ticket gets anymore expensive, you might as well be a season plan holder, and get your butt off the couch.

If I lose....I will also lose the battle with my 135lb Bernese Mountain Dog for the leftovers....

His teeth are so big....that he could be featured on the Discovery Channel's Shark Week...

Since he is tri-colored - black, gold, and white....he basically looks like Jerome Bettis with a tail.

I must have missed that tourney, didnt know any women were in the NFFC...maybe they can step it up this year for the live draft...

as far as the NFL ticket goes I am one of those cable folks and i think if we were able to get it they probably could have made more money in the long run as I think more of us have cable than DirecTV which isnt available in all areas...Crazy thing is that even if its $200 for the package u still wind up paying less than if u went to a bar and spent $20-$30 each week on beer & wings and then have to walk clockwise through the bar to try and catch every game.

In our first issue we did a huge story on the NFFC. Included in their was an article about Claire and Jan. You either have the magazine now or will get it as part of your goodie bag at the event. Check it out. It's good reading.
