Week 14 Thoughts

There are probably 75 WRs you could start over Sims-Walker right now. I'm not kidding either. He has six receptions in the past three games. What possible reason would anyone have to start him right now unless they absolutely had no other choice?

He's becoming the late-season version of Eddie Royal.

DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP OVER THAT DECISION T.K. SIMMS WALKER IS PROBABLY A MAIN PART OF THE REASON YOUR TEAM IS WHERE IT IS AT AND CERTAINLY NOT REGGIE BUSH.

YOU DID WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS RIGHT AND THAT IS ALL YOU CAN DO.

NO MATTER THAT THE RESULT IS. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO GO WITH YOUR FIRST MIND AND BE WRONG THAN SECOND GUESS YOURSELF AND BE WRONG.

Ormond, I agree. In another contest we started Sproles over Snelling. We went for the upside, it didn't work out and we left 16 points on the bench.

Thems the breaks. :D

Has there ever been a vulture for QBs? When I initially drafted McNabb, I hoped Vick would actually enhance Donovan's value in providing another dangerous weapon in his arsenal. I hated the timing of the Vick homecoming happening in the important week 13, and now it's become him coming in when Donovan drives field to inside the 10. He's the 2008 version of LenDale.

Alex Smith caught as many passes this week as Mike Sims-Walker did.

Yes I'm still bitter.

Yes I'm still bitter. Sorry you are still bitter, Tom.

If it is any consolation (and I doubt it is), your first sentence made me crack up. :D

The 49ers finally realized that if they run the ball with Gore they have a much better chance of winning.

I need that kind of performance from Gore the next two weeks so that I can win my auction league in the FFPC.

The Niners are 6-0 when Gore gets 15+ rushing attempts. They are winless when he gets fewer than 15. I've never been an NFL head coach and never will be, but sometimes this game isn't all that difficult to figure out.
