Has anyone else lost a portion of your interest in FF this season? I'm not sure if it's one year after another of losing a 1st or 2nd (or both) round pick to injury so early....or making lineup mistakes too often....or realizing that I may just not be very good at the hobby I typically enjoy so much.

I'm sure others have had far worse luck than I have and I don't mean to cry the blues but this is new territory for me.

I've never had a problem getting jacked up for football before. Do they make a type of Viagra to give ya a woody for football again because I need some inspiration.

I hear ya Mr.C.

You get pumped up for game day, to see.
Westbrook gets hurt early,K.Smith, well what happen to Him. On and on. But look at most of the scores from other teams and you'll see there all down this week. It's one week at a time and a long season. I made some bad plays this week, but we all did. As well as the guy I lost too. No one is perfect, we just go out it again next week, well minus Westbrook.

Good Luck,

John

Jeff, I feel you...I'm in a BUNCH of leagues once again this year and it's a bit stressful when things don't go your way. I'm in an auction championship in that "other" high stakes event and I benched Ronnie Brown this week, in favor of Earnest Graham. That was REALLY hard to swallow. I can still pull out a win tomorrow night, but I'll need Cotchery and Gates to step up.

I think I'm going to set my lineups next week, and sometime after noon, when I see all of the inactives, I'm going to take the wife and son to New Jersey to the Apple Orchards...It's great this time of year. I'll go the whole day with no stress and let the chips fall where they may. If you want, jump in your car and meet me out there. How many hours is it from Indiana?

So true!

Like all of our "information outposts" are anything more than geeks sorting through press releases.

It sucks.

NFL coaches leak nothing...it's their job.

Kevin Smith just became fish bait...Graham looked like a step above bait. Ronnie Brown was most likely benched in 85% of the leagues...Ocho Cinco is a big baby, Winslow who? Braylon who?

Yikes!

If I don't profit this year...I'll take 2009 off.

There has to be some discipline...or you are just another addict.

I'm relatively "light" as far as how I hear some folks roll, with "only" two main events and two home leagues...but with travel...that still adds up to over $7,000 per year EASY...let alone gambling in Vegas...another $4,000?

Must win league every 3rd year to even think about keeping it going (when you calc in the taxes and travel)...and that's plenty hard to do...sometimes I wonder if there's a "fantasy sports bubble" that will pop.

That is the one part I hate about the auction ... you can have a good year and quickly lose in the playoffs ... get nothing.

It's so hard to cash in leagues of 12 and 14 and then if you pull it off 30 percent has to go to taxe's.

I also am pretty tired of the crowd that thinks there is a large measure of skill involved in this game. How much skill was needed to play R.Brown this weekend? You know there are owners that pay 10% of the attention we do to making roster decisions that randomly had him in their lineup.

Once you agree that everyone has the same basic information then it's simply a guessing game yet some folks still want to call it skill.

Quick....I'm thinking of a number between 1-10...what is it?

Those of you who guessed 7 must be some of the most skillful number guessers I've ever met. Maybe they should start a thread huh!

That's pretty much what I think of FF right now SNAKE!

i feel the pain,,westy and graham are my RB tandem in one league,,woohoo 2.8 combined points. addai and palmer finally produced something. guess i messed up not benching roywil for hank baskett..whodathunkit. oh well, tomorrows another day. i agree with diesel, just set our lineup's go play a round of golf while the weathers still good or take the kids and/or grandkids to the park. after all, just about the time you think it's bad, it gets worse. damn, this is fun.
